Hardy’s from Philadelphia Mississippi (small town named after another.) His name is Michael Hardy, named after his dad. His lyrics are exactly what he’s lived. It’s real. He writes all his music and for a lot of other artists. He has some live solo acoustic performances of some great ones, God’s Country for one. Blake Shelton had a number one with God’s Country, written by Hardy but I love Hardy doing it acoustically.
We told you!! Now, A Rock, Jack, Give Heaven Some Hell, Sold Out, Rednecker. And you mentioned Puddle of Mud. Hardy has a cover of Blurry that is next level. Knew you would love this! ♥️🎶
New viewer here - loved your reaction (and laughed out loud when Steve said he wanted to hear a more rock sound and I knew what was about to happen). Every song of Hardy's that I've listened to has nuggets of lyrical gold. On the more country side, I'd recommend "Give Heaven Some Hell", "A Rock", and "Signed, Sober You". On the more rock side, "Jack" and "Sold Out" - everything I've seen of his blows me away so you really can't go wrong no matter what you choose.
Loved the reaction! Do some more Hardy! I’d love to hear you react to the other songs on this album. He also has a couple albums out under the name Hixtape because it’s like a country mixtape. Some real good ones on there too!
Interesting you say you heard Puddle of Mudd influence. Go check out his cover of Blurry. It’s GREAT. It’s one of his favorite songs and he was VERY influenced by 90s/2000s hard rock. I’m a Hardy SUPERFAN. You also have to check out Jack and Sold Out if you want more rock!
Over the last few years it’s really grown We now have 3 major radio stations start dedicated count try stations and BBC which is our biggest station has just made us their band of the month so it’s on the rise for sure ! It’s amazing how many people listen to country hear but don’t speak about it it’s like a taboo genre lol 😂 Everyone I speak to has country on their playlists especially the likes of brothers osbourne and Luke combs
@@thewestlandsofficial Love that Brothers Osborne gets some love over in the UK. They’re from a town about 10 minutes from me. If you like them you should check out Jackson Dean. Similar style and coincidentally also from the same area!
Sold out by Hardy ASAP

Same. I'm obsessed. The whole damn record has me consumed.
More Hardy!! ❤
Legend in the making
before I watch I cannot wait to see your reaction!!!
His song A Rock in my opinion is lyrically speaking his most brilliant song to date.
The wings: One is a Mockingbird wing next to a Crow's wing.
