The National Anthems are usually performed live, though I know for the Super Bowl it's prerecorded so I'm surprised they don't do it for other major events.

I cry every time I listen to this. I was stuck in toxic relationships for years. I forgot what healthy was until I met my love. He has shown me gentle, sweet love that allows me to be my own person. It’s a relief. I can be me around him. He never controls me and only supports me. I’m still healing and he helps me deal with my trauma responses that come up. Never have I felt this and like your song says, I thought I knew what love was but I didn’t until now.

I think having the "right voice" is ridiculous. All voices can sing the national anthem and sing it in their key. The song not being suited to her voice doesn't make her sing like a recently deaf person.

This song is amazingly beautiful with lyrics that artfully express the covert nature of toxic relationships where coercive control can be confused for caring and concern. It was just recently that I came to understand the torment that those in these relationships undergo. The pain is deep and many on the outside just don’t understand. The lyrics also wonderfully express the happiness and freedom that can be attained when a person with true loving intent comes into the person’s life.
The couple in the video dancing full of happiness,love, and freedom resonated deeply within me based upon my own experiences.

I resonated a lot with the toxic relationship 🥺 I spent 7 almost 8 years of my life fighting for someone who never fought for me. They’d fight with me but never for me and it broke my heart to the point that I gave up on love and thought it was only the thing of myths and happily ever after stories. Later on in life I met a amazing man who showed me what real love was but due to my fear and insecurities I let him go not knowing how to cherish what I had. Now that I got a glimpse and taste of happily ever after I hope to never let it go again once I find my person.
The right person at the wrong time is still wrong. My love tells me he wishes we could’ve met years ago, but I told him that years ago I was a different person who wouldn’t have known how to appreciate and cherish him. We wish we could’ve had known each other in our 20’s to “have more time” but we met when it was right and we were ready for each other, and we are SO right for each other now and can start growing together the rest of our lives.

I love this song so much-it’s words are beautiful and when they are sung by Ingrid’s voice the emotions just pour out. The video is perfect-it plays along with the song and brings it alive.

With benefits. Two months ago I left, went no contact and recovering from his abuse is getting easier, finding myself again a gift. Will I find what you do in your song? Maybe, but listening gives me hope, thank you.
