I've done a base coat of the mix coat, spray with clear sealer, then tape like in the video, use paint instead of mod podge to add light and dark glitter. Usually only takes one coat of glitter with the paint. Save quite a bit of time since there's twice as much of the mix. Love these colors!
I was following you with my cup but discovered it doesn’t come out evenly when taping (/long way). You have 5squares… I’m getting 4 and a big gap🤷♀️ when I place my last spacer I’m near the first strip of tape. Not sure if this makes sense.. lol… working with a 20 oz🤪
I heard you say don’t cry over spilt glitter ✨ well in most case this is true but when your EX deliberately dumps out two bottles of your Butterfly Mist and then you find out that it’s discontinued I’m sorry but you have to 😭 CRY YOUR EYES OUT😭!!!!

Monarch is one of those colors that shocks me every time I use it. It’s a great color

I just tried with a 20 oz skinny and I also came up with a small gap :( a little bit smaller then 1/2".

I was wondering if doing a base coat of the mix glitter and then epoxy that layer would save time. Not sure if it would work.
It may, but between cure times it would overall take a bit longer. Try it and see though! May save some of the pain.

I spray with clear spray before adding a new color. This eliminates the color from contaminating the next color..
this is great -- any rules for a "not skinny" tumblers?
Your lines will just begin to narrow with the painters tape. There are also templates for vinyl for curved or the tapered tumblers on Etsy.
