Four words on Indian Education System :-
    1. Rote-learning ; 2. Unuseful ; 3. Informal Job & 4. Corruption

I am studying in Melbourne (Australia)
Here professors focus on students try to learn by themselves with some tips through practical in class....they just give some ideas related to that concept, and mostly students do 90% brainstorming thinking how to use it in their job.... everyone just focus on how to clear job interview rather than scoring marks in college ..they just want to pass in subject . From starting to till course ending they educate students according to job ...
More foucs is on Communication skills, team work , research, problem solving attitude rather than coding or other things .
These skills are more important than craming formulas....
They invited corporate employees in universities regularly to tell students what is required in job...
And every semester they update syllabus according to demand....
Some professors do part time teaching and part time corporate job so that they don't get bored in life ....
Every profession is important ..I am not saying engineering is most important..
But try to balance in life .and do whatever u like with high salary...
And people are crazy for sports...😂.
They wake up at 4 am and sleep at 7-8 pm max.
    I like their routine..
They are very clear what they want to do in life .
Eat proper at proper time , do walking, take break in job for lunch (everyone) not like us 😔 ignoring health for job....
Do enjoy on weekends with family..
Perfect balance professional and personal life...here in Australia
Yes inflation is high here also ....but everything is fine in terms of infrastructure, roads, metro, cleanliness...
Govt use tax payers money to do for betterment of people...
People are honest...say truth , and they like truth over lying.
    Thanks..

    • @rajanimenon1780
      @rajanimenon1780 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

Yes, the bottomline is people are honest, that is what is required. Here neither parents, teachers, even our leaders none are honest, so how can the children be taught to be honest.
Children are taught to get ahead anyhow, by hook or by crook, then later what is the use of crying, when the basis of everything in India is dishonesty.

    • @vijendersingh1537

@@rajanimenon1780yes....noone told that marks are not important... dishonesty starts from school . If student fail ..parents scold him rather than tell him that it's good that u didn't cheat to pass and then later in life these people do corruption to become good in front of parents and society..

My experience is similar, but one cannot brand a country or people dishonest. When 1.4 bn people are vying for limited resources (jobs, education, road space, health facilities, ....), the equation changes and people don't remain the same. The same people behave like ideal citizens when they go to developed countries. Which means there is nothing wrong with individuals. It is the system, the environment, the society that guides human behaviour.

Somebody has come forward to clarify why it went wrong. As an unsuccessful student having high aspirations towards other field, I'm currently suffering from intense mental pain inflicted by my shitty school. Had your videos has been released few yrs back, I could really have found a way to build my self-confidence, learning atmosphere, earning place etc. Now although it's not too late but still I'm able to realise why I lost the game.

Writing about Indian education system in the asked pause. The Indian education system is actually good if you want to be an engineer or a "usually go-to" professions like doctors, scientists, provided IF you can figure out your own way. I am speaking this from my experience. I used to study poorly. However, in 10th, I studied hard and got 90% (exactly 90) in ICSE and I loved studying about science. In 12th, I got 94.5% in CBSE and I cracked IIT JEE in general category and got a seat in NIT Rourkela. However I opted out to a state government college for CSE where I was the rank opener. Then with hard work, I cracked Google internship twice and today I am working remotely for a MNC. So if you know what you want and you are read to work hard and compete, the system is not really that bad. I often hear people saying education is bad in India, but it's not.

@@sangramraje5667 I agree your point. Making engineers and doctors should not be the only aim of our education.
I think what I meant is that if done right, Indian education can get you to "something". This "something" for the moment is limited to engineer and doctors. But the point is it will not go in complete vain.

Education is not for everyone. Practically the present education system is not that flawed, and the same system produces top class successful people and otherwise. The only difference is made by self driven individuals. People don't see education something worthwhile if they are not able to attach some monetary gains with it-but it doesn't work in this way success or money is just a by product of one's hardworking not other way round.

I'm a firm supporter of allowing kids to take it easy and regularly remind them not to worry about marks so much (academically they are among the top in class). I want them to have exposure to different mental models through fine arts, sports, self defence etc but schools eat up a lot of the time - inko aur thoda tight karoonga. A lot of this viewpoint, I owe it to listening to your content! Thank you Amitji 🙏

For example, in a language there are multiple skills, reading, comprehension, writing, speaking, listening. What is evaluated is writing that too is only to some extent.

In India 150 crore people and most of them want to be Doctor, engineer/IIT/IIM/IAS etc. There are many ITI opened by govt in very low fees do provide good job. But problem is its not sexy. Many simple carrier exist but nobody want to choose them because of social status and low pay. If you become a good barbar. You can earn min 5000 per day but it is not sexy.

Indian Education System (IES) mast hai ek tarah se, kyunki bohot badi companies ke CEOs Indians hain. Baaki humko lagta hai ki baahar desho mein bohot hee alag system hai, itna alag nahi hai. Ratta maarna, maar pitai, surprise test, half yearly aur annual exam wahi hai. Developing desh mein issey zyaada aur kya koi expect karega. Mereko ye lagta hai ki agar faaltu ka 50% syllabus hata diya jaaye toh bhi kuch farak mahi padega. Marks se bache ki determination dekhi jaati hai. At the end, companies ko khud hee training deni padti hai. Practical skills nahi hain IES mein, wo internship karke aati hai.

    Indian education system
    1. Does not promote curiosity enough
    2. Teachers are like military officers. Going to school is hell
    3. No extra curricular activities support
    4. Non existent funding for buying scientific equipment with schools
    5. Teachers with poor teaching skills (most of them)
    6. Education is cheap so thats nice (except medical)
    7. Insane competition for entrances

After saw this video yesterday. I have something to say.
There are not as many problems with education system as it seems on it surface. Problem of unemployment is not directly linked with that. But the lack of practical experience of person which required r&d environment with midset of research and life skills which no school system can teach. Only individual personality inspire to learn those with his experience. Which required honest discussion. And it also comes from observation and common and sensible talk which you do.
A like the title of this video... I may name this as "correct mindset with education system" or "99% of education system ye h"
Many think to say on this but my fingers getting tired.

Indian education system is just rote learning...From childhood we were told to rote everything but when we passed 12th exam. There is a barrier of competitive exam like JEE MAINS and NEET which requires application of what we learnt. Other countries like US, China are experimenting a lot and finding new things whereas we Indians are just studying to get a decent job.

    2. Vocational
    3. Logical/critical thinking
1st & 2nd aspect par to sab dhyan dete hai. 3rd and most important aspect par koi dhyan nahi deta. Isiliye log scientist, engineer, doctor banane k baad bhi andhbhakt, jatiwadi, racist bane rahte hai. Aur rat race, naukari, society k chakkar me fase rahte hai.

The present govt. even wants to discourage English learning , as mentioned in NEP to learn in mother tongue. Now English is an international language which Indians had advantage of due to the british, then the citizens , many who want to go abroad etc. will be at a disadvantage.
In NCERT there are too many chapters in social studies , English and languages. These can be reduced and instead have more periods for communication, debates and discussions in classroom.
