I never knew the concept of an owner's locket existed until I watched one of Jen's videos explaining it. She described how people put some strange and random things in there like of all things, a crock pot. Now I cannot get the idea of bringing a crockpot to Walt Disney World out of my head! I mean bringing a crockpot and having it there at Disney World is just genius. Can you imagine getting a five pound chuck roast from the Kroger, then getting a stick of butter and a packet of Lipton onion soup mix and some precut celery and carrot sticks, putting them in the crockpot at the setting of low at 8 am before you leave your Coronado Springs hotel room, then having a blast during the day with rides like It's a Small World and Magic Mountain, watching some fireworks, then coming home at night and having a completely cooked pot roast, succulent and juicy, with its own sauce and gravy plus side vegetables! I mean come on, that is just genius. Now I cannot stop thinking and obsessing about it and I have it on my bucket list that one of these days I WILL bring a crockpot to my Disney World resort room and I WILL have delicious pot roast after a full day of Disney fun!!! Thank you Jen for planting that seed in me!!
Loved meeting you and the others, Jen! Thanks for making my kids think I'm cool because I made it in a TH-cam video! 😅 I bought the diffuser you suggested and it fit on the hair dryers I used at OKW, AKL and BLT. The bed at Boardwalk was our favorite on our last trip!

Love the video. I literally JUST booked a one bedroom here for April. We always stay at beach club but couldn’t beat the price of boardwalk this time. Rented dvc points. Watched your video about that as well. Thx for the tips.
I do the same thing, my husband and I will usually stay for a week or almost a week and as soon as I get into the room, after I wipe down everything, I completely unpack my suitcase. I hang up everything, lay out all of my shoes and fill all the drawers and that's my home for the week. No living out of a suitcase when you're staying at the Disney Villas. 👌🏽 Just makes sense.

Love that studio… The separates bath and toilet to the sink is great… Love the way you didn’t hide from the rain…. I like to unpack…doesn’t matter how long I’m staying..I unpack. You look so cute in your ears… It’s lovely watching all the “ friendship” boats..love that name… We would call them transfer boats…. Don’t understanding they do not do tea in the lobby so odd… Great you get to meet your patrons…..👍🇬🇧

Yay! Things are feeling incredibly heavy in my world and I spent the morning dream planning a DL vacation instead of grocery shopping and the other necessary things I need to be doing. This was infinitely better than even planning a trip I am not taking.
I love Boardwalk! It may have to do with the fact that was the first time my hubby and I stayed at a DVC villa room, plus it was my birthday! We also stayed on the first floor. The convenience was awesome & the room was beautiful. We had a great time! Thank you for the happy videos Jen.

In the one-bedroom, there was a mirror by the front door and there were hooks there were lower ones where we put our masks. Then upper ones in the side where we hung our stockings for a Christmas. We stayed at the Boardwalk Inn last month. The resort is beautiful although the room itself sorely needed an updated and was really dusty. The location itself was amazing though. If they renovate the Inn rooms, the resort would be perfect. We ended up moving to the Yacht Club the last few nights because the carpeting in the room aggravated my daughter’s allergies. The rooms on the Villa side look much better than the rooms on the Inn side.
I’m always struck by how grown up your visits to Disney are in comparison to mine 🤣🤣🤣. I love the friendship boats and must ride them on each trip!! This gave me so many feels but mostly it just made me miss Disney even more 😩
Thank you for lying down on the pull down bed so we could see how big it actually is! I do still wonder if the ones in the deluxes/DVC resorts are the same size as the ones in the moderate resorts, like Caribbean Beach or Port Orleans Riverside. My son slept on one at POR when he was 6 and I feel like it would be too small for him now.

I love me some packing cubes and our Disney trips are going to be a little different now that we own DVC. After our big Christmas trip definitely shorter. We are also new owners at Aulani and I really wish someone did owner's lockers there. We plan to go frequently so they would come in handy.

I don't know/remember when this was refurbished. But I like it! Has it been 6 years already? TIme flies. This is so interesting; this is kind of like a different type of trip for you. So we'll see how it goes for you. Hopefully, it will be just as magical as a regular family trip.:)
We were there for the first time last week. We stayed 2 nights. We had a second floor room way down by the dvc pool. The walk was sooo far (we were traveling with my handicapped son) so the room location was not good. The room was beautiful and clean but we found the tub was very very slippery. We were surprised the pool area was dirty (garbages over flowing) and pool furniture by the tables were all chipped and cushions were stained. This was a 2 week trip so we split our stay between bay lake, akl and boardwalk. Idk if we’d stay here again but I’m glad we tried it.
The Britta is Not extra. FL water from the tap is hazardous and requires some form of flavoring to cover it up. 😂 (Crystal Light or one of the other brands is required packing for our trips-I say this as a Floridian -our 💧 is undrinkable as is.) Lovely room. We always enjoy the Boardwalk when we stay there.

We are DVC members and have never stayed at the boardwalk. We are currently booked for a none DVC room. The garden view cottage and we are so excited.
Oh I reallllly want to stay in one of those. The room tour I saw showed them to be a bit worn but I love the view and sitting area outside.

There weren’t but that doesn’t mean they weren’t supposed to be there - I find sometimes things are just missing!

Thank you for lying down on the pull down bed so we could see how big it actually is! I do still wonder if the ones in the deluxes/DVC resorts are the same size as the ones in the moderate resorts, like Caribbean Beach or Port Orleans Riverside. My son slept on one at POR when he was 6 and I feel like it would be too small for him now.
Wife loves the boats too. She also has a problem.

I would love to see how you packed and organized for your entire crew!. Isn't it luxurious traveling alone? Lol. I love me some packing cubes and our Disney trips are going to be a little different now that we own DVC. After our big Christmas trip definitely shorter. We are also new owners at Aulani and I really wish someone did owner's lockers there. We plan to go frequently so they would come in handy.

I don't know/remember when this was refurbished. But I like it! Has it been 6 years already? TIme flies. This is so interesting; this is kind of like a different type of trip for you. So we'll see how it goes for you. Hopefully, it will be just as magical as a regular family trip.:)
At least 5 because when we redid our bathroom in TX I used the colors from the “new” rooms there and that was over 5 years ago. And yes time is crazy!
My family and I stayed in a dvc suite at the Wilderness lodge in June. I was surprised that it only had one sink too.
We always stay at The Boardwalk but this November we are staying at The Beach Club ⛱. The location is perfect for Epcot or Hollywood Studios.
We were there for the first time last week. We stayed 2 nights. We had a second floor room way down by the dvc pool. The walk was sooo far (we were traveling with my handicapped son) so the room location was not good. The room was beautiful and clean but we found the tub was very very slippery. We were surprised the pool area was dirty (garbages over flowing) and pool furniture by the tables were all chipped and cushions were stained. This was a 2 week trip so we split our stay between bay lake, akl and boardwalk. Idk if we’d stay here again but I’m glad we tried it.

The Britta is Not extra. FL water from the tap is hazardous and requires some form of flavoring to cover it up. 😂 (Crystal Light or one of the other brands is required packing for our trips-I say this as a Floridian -our 💧 is undrinkable as is.) Lovely room. We always enjoy the Boardwalk when we stay there.
It was truly an amazing stay from start to finish! Only complaint: TOO SHORT!

Can’t do the Florida water at all. When I’m in Florida, my NJ tastebuds buy the large dispenser-type water at Publix.
How was it going during the pandemic? Curious because...I've been stuck at home since February of last year, and my goodness, I want to get out! Desperately want to go on a solo trip to Disney and after so long being stuck in the house, I am considering going sometime later this year (maybe November)...One can dream, haha. It looks like so much fun!

Yay, a Jen vlog to start my morning off right! This video makes me want to explore more of the hotels in "that part" of WDW, instead of my go-to monorail resorts. I like what they've done with the "Yachty" lobby. BUT... the double sided tape... come on, Jen! I'm on the edge of my seat here!
