Can anyone explaiin the reasoning or like interpretation of multiplying d² by p ?? As like sir explained there is reason for squaring of deviation (d) to make values positive amd mske solution workable , similarly if any could explain if there is any reasoning of multiplication of d2 by p or like why didn't simply added d2 to get variance ?
Adding squared values of deviations (referred to as "Sum of Squares of Deviations" can be done only in simple individual series. However, the current example in a case of Probability Distribution, where the probabilities work as weights to compute the average. Without multiplying the weights, you cannot find the weighted average.
3rd batsmen is no risky bcz avg batting = (no.of run that he scored/no. Of innings he played) so...batsmen no . 3rd is scored 50... Average batting is 50too. So not a risk at all, another 2nd batsmen is moderate risky as he scored between 40 to 60. And high risky person is' A' As sometime out at the scored of 0 and some time person A out at the scored of 100.too... So as I select person A he is more risky. Agr nahi chala to. So after the Whole Analysis of That whole Scenario we need to Measure first.....As we take more risk more chance of return would be there.
