      Absolutely agree. He's actually a former world record holder for GBR, in the 1500m,its Steve Ovett. Olympic champion. He's a crap commentator... And Kathryn Merry, former olympian at the 400m. She's not much better, but she's good as a stadium announcer.

    Spotakova comes back at the age of 36 just to emphasize that she's easily the greatest female javelin thrower ever.

    Why do some of them throw so far behind the line. I swear the Aussie could have went forward another 5 yards.

    • @jamiegreen8065
      @jamiegreen8065 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It appears that they are far from the line when they throw but they have to be because after you release, your momentum will continue to carry you forward for another couple meters or so. If you're too close when you release, your momentum will carry you over the foul line.

    Why do they jump about like a little human show horse for 5 seconds or so before running to throw?? 10:28 is a prime example. I mean runners don't do it before running, in fact, no one does. What's that little show horse bit all in aid of? Even the run is like a show horse sometimes. It ain't a show horse show but if it were, she would have done well with that trot.
