This virtual walking tour was filmed in the beautiful city of Como in June 2023.
🌍 About Como 🌍
Como is a city located in the Lombardy region of northern Italy, situated at the southern end of the famous Lake Como. The city has a population of around 85,000 people and is known for its stunning natural beauty, historic landmarks, and charming atmosphere.
One of the main attractions of Como is the lake itself, which is surrounded by picturesque mountains and dotted with small towns and villas. Visitors can take a boat tour of the lake or hike the many trails that wind through the surrounding hills.
The city center has several notable landmarks, including the 14th-century Como Cathedral, which features a beautiful Gothic facade and impressive artwork. The Tempio Voltiano, a museum dedicated to the famous physicist Alessandro Volta, is another popular attraction.

What is the situation around Lake Como? Still migrants invading and camping out in Como? Would like to know before to plan a trip there.
Migrants who were camping around the main train station (waiting to go through Switzerland) have been moved to ad-hoc sites. There are no more migrants camping around the train station and the nearby gardens. You would occasionally meet migrants in town trying to sell you something, but it's a minor presence. The town is safe and well controlled.
