Hey Some 2 weeks ago I bought this card as used but still with a 2-year warranty. All in all I decided on this card after watching this movie. I was still thinking about the gtx 1060 from the msi version of the X gaming, but after viewing this movie, however, I chose this card. During these 2 weeks, I stabbed Witcher 3, World of tanks, Mortal Combat XL and GTA V on it and I will say briefly that I'm happy with my choice. It is true that the card is cold because on Witcher 3 (all Uber at 1080p without hairworks) the card keeps the temperature at 75-80 degrees Celsius which according to me is at a decent temperature. I have not done the cards yet because everything I played was played on the Gaming mode settings. Overall, I mainly play World of Tanks and what surprised me on this game at full hd and everything on the ultra card does not reach temperatures higher than 58 degrees Celsius. After a multi-hour max session I observed it 58 degrees so the card is perfect for me. Generally, it's thanks for the review of this card because there is no movie on PL (my country) on my family yotub. Greetings :)

Just wanted to say that Gigabyte can really confuse me sometimes with the Aorus Brand implementation because I see that the RX 580 is completely Aorus branded but the GTX 1060 9gbps has the Aorus brand in the middle, between the two fans, but on the back and at the top it's Xtreme Gaming branded, not to mention that it doesn't have the copper black plate. I know that it's not important now to notice but I've heard that people were confused because they didn't know if it's the 9gbps implementation or it's actually an older model that they didn't release yet. Overall still very nice card and very efficient. Good job, Gigabyte!

do these have plastic film on them when new ?> i got mine new:: air quotes from newegg and the triple fan style it didn't have any clear film on it at all and the box wasnt taped shut but not ripped open eather

thats very nice ubt i have zotac gtx 1070 mini just i am glad to have it i play all current games ultra setting @60 fps unless assassin's creed syndicate i get 46 fps at ultra with 4x msaa which is still great
IS MY CARD GOOD TOO? It is called Gigabyte Aorus GEFORE GTX 1060 OC Edition Rev2.0 I bought at Newegg back in 2018. But it has three fans not 2. What are the other difference(s)? It seems to do basic tentative over clock without getting warmer I must admit. Going to try real MSI OC tonight. Any advicé?
Seems like a pretty damned good card. I admittedly, am a fan of AMD, so, I'd choose the 580 myself, but, this is a solid card and good competition for the 580. I am still waiting to see what vega holds for me though, before I buy my next Graphics Card. Great video Elric. Hope you're feeling better.
Rahul GR, AORUS branded card is the new 2017 version.. Same OC speeds (1873 mhz max rated) but with 9Gbps new memory compared to original 8Gbps on your Extreme Gaming 2016 version card.
I don't see how any of these speeds matter at all. Just OC the card. Other than that there's only gonna be, tops, a 5fps difference between the custom models. Not to mention gigabyte has been known to REALLY go budget on the vrms of all their custom designs for the current Pascal and Polaris generation. Go with Asus or MSI if you want good overclocks.

Романов Романов it has a higher base clock and 9000 GPPS(which is a lot), which is a higher clock memory, so yea, short version, it's faster, now whatever it's worth the xtreme over the normal one depends on the prices in your country
Hello, I have problem with this video card. I was plugged in correctly in pci-express x16 2.0 slot, plugged into 6+2Pin (8pin) power connector. I was update bios for Asrock Z68 Extreme4 to 2.20, my cpu is I5 2500K Snady Bridge and power supply OCZ 600W SXS psu 80+. So im thinking its not bad components for this graphic card but the system is not detecting gpu, the screen in bios is black. i Hear the system is loaded up but view on the monitor is still black. Can anyone give me advice is this card dead or i need to do anything more or send on gwaranty ?

Nvidia done fucked up not giving the GTX 1060 SLI... Seriously, 2 of those GPUs in SLI would be BEASTLY! But Nvidia would rather you sell your 1060, and buy a 1070 or 1080 if you want as much "Future Proofing" as possible. Aaaand that is EXACTLY why I bought a G1 Gaming GTX 980 Ti used August of 2016 - I mean that and the fact that OCed as mine is, it is beyond anything a GTX 1070 could possibly reach, at 8.464 TFLOP, 145 Gpixel, 265 Gtexel/sec and 384.4 GB/sec memory Bandwidth- to be able to hit even 8.4 TFLOP a GTX 1070 would NEED to be running 2.2 GHZ at LOWEST! Because that is still 8.448 TFLOPS, and even at that speed, it is good for 140 Gpixel/sec and 264 Gtexel/sec - with, AT BEST, about 290 GB/sec memory Bandwidth! Even comparing against a GTX 1080 at 2.2 GHZ - the Gpixel count will be the same as the 1070 as they both have 64 ROPs, and a GTX 1080 OCed tends to max out around 345 GB/sec with the 10 Gbps GDDR5X, with only the 11 Gbps GTX 1080s being able to match or exceed the bandwidth of the 980 Ti running 8 GHZ effective VRAM! Hey, I have a little question about graphics card and motherboard compatibility. A while ago I tried building a pc. Bought all of the parts except for the graphics card (Long story). Now, I've looked all over the internet and obviously I'm too dumb to find the answer. Is EVGA GeForce GTX 1060 SC GAMING 6GB GDDR5 PCIE compatible with Gigabyte GA-Z170-D3H motherboard? (Obviously, I don't know anything about building a PC and I no longer have contact with the person that helped me pick the parts before that.) I'd be more than happy if someone could help me out with this. If any other information about the system is needed, just ask. :I
Yes it is absolutely compatible... basically any graphics card with pcie will work in basically any motherboard with pcie... you do need to see if your power supply has the correct output cables for your graphics card.... generally 6 or 8 pin sometimes multiple combination of 6 or 8 pin, and enough output to power the entire system at peak power.
299 might as well buy a gtx 1070 you could find them at 330 like a month ago on amazon and I even saw one for 300 that sold immediately but still this is not even worth it if you can get a gtx 1070 for 30 more dollars.

Jayfel Cantrell yeah u can mainly depends on your case size and if your motherboard supports pci 16 graphic card i believe. I would definitely increase your cpu ram 4gb is low a least go to 8 and then look into maxing out

Can somebody help me i have gigabyte z370 HD3, aorus 1060 6gb i5 8600 1x8gb 3200mhz nothing overclocked and i get fps drops in every game can be the shittiest game and it will get fps drops for 1-2 secs than go back to normal there is nothing running in the backgroung. Ans people with my same specs gets 20-30 fps more in games than me wirh same specs!! Everything is updated,there cant be virus or dust in my pc beacuse its builded 2 weeks ago. This beast is only 350$ in my country, where the majority of normal GTX 1060s are priced higher. GTX 1070 is like 510$, so that's a bummer.
I would wait for VEGA at this point to see price to performance is and nvidia might even drop the price.

Yep, it is an excellent gpu, but if you wanna save more money, just get the rx 580 and have it in crossfire mode.
£40 more for a MSI GeForce GTX 1070 Aero Edition here in the uk, which is a much better card, not gonna lie.

Can somebody help me i have gigabyte z370 HD3, aorus 1060 6gb i5 8600 1x8gb 3200mhz nothing overclocked and i get fps drops in every game can be the shittiest game and it will get fps drops for 1-2 secs than go back to normal there is nothing running in the backgroung. Ans people with my same specs gets 20-30 fps more in games than me wirh same specs!! Everything is updated,there cant be virus or dust in my pc beacuse its builded 2 weeks ago. If somebody need to know more ask me.
man that's LITERALLY the xtreme gaming 1060 with an aorus rebrand. like they didn't even change the logo or anything just put the little aorus badge in the middle. lazy... but the xtreme gaming 1060 is the card I had before I got my aorus 1080 ti and yea its a great card. silent as all hell.

why would i pay more for a card thats just as fast as any other gtx 1060 and just as bottlenecked by silicon and voltage limitations as any other gtx 1060 and runs just as hot as a cheaper itx card?
