    Interesting light. I have this emitter in a mule. Now I e ordered this Amutorch XT60. The emitter is actually a SFH55. I don't know why some manufacturers call it NB90.16.

      How is the 6000k tint? Does it get real green at the low end?

    i love the xt60 NB90.16. nice form factor and doesn't get really hot. One of my favorite light. Mine doesnt turn off after turbo and i have it since early this year or late last year. Wonderful light

      Think I have a dud, Turbo issue and low output compared to other reviews.

      @@FLASHAHOLIC_TV might be. I don't have any test equipment but the xt60 on turbo is pretty bright and have a nice hotspot with pretty good spill. I ran it in turbo few times and i didnt notice any sudden shut off or weird behavior.

      Just got one and mine shuts off from turbo too. Seems to output about the same as a 4200 lumen light I have.

      @@HeadCracker789 i just tried mine against a E07 with XPL-hi. the xt60 has a brighter hotspot at turbo. I ran it till thermal regulation kicked it and it step down from turbo. No shut down.

    These chinese SFH55/NB90.16 LEDs are amazing. Are there any flashlights with multiple of those LEDs?

    Nice review! 💪 Wish you'd used the Sofrin IF22A over that Cometa though. Wanted to see how it matched up with the other 2.

      Sofirn is way smaller though.

      So is the Lumintop GT Mini that it was compared with. The Sofirn is only 5mm shorter than the GT. Regardless of the size, they're both great throwers and I still wanted to see how it stacked up against it. Plus, almost any other light would have been a better comparison over that Cometa.

      @@YuhNinja 🤦‍♂️ the Lumintop bezel is only 8mm (5/16") larger than the Sofirn. Wtf are we even taking about at this point? 😂 You don't agree with my request to compare it to the IF22A? Great! That's fine. We'll have to agree to disagree. 🫡

      LEDs are getting smaller and brighter still. Can't wait to see what CREE come up with to challenge these chinese LEDs.

      @@FLASHAHOLIC_TV fr. There’s so many new ones coming out. It’s great for us in the end. Sfn55, 60 sfq55. They’re not messing around. They make some powerful emitters. I’m excited to see how they hold up long term

    Between this and the D18 (floody) which one is floodier and throwier? Please. Also, it looks like this light runs much cooler than the Emisar D18? Which do you recommend?

      D18 for flood, XT60 for throw but watch other reviews first as my XT60 has a turbo glitch

    I wonder why your output numbers are so low. Nick from 1lumen measured it much closer to spec. He also measured the NS59V1 with the included cells and got around the same numbers as you did. Which lightbox are you using, V1 or V2?

      Mine may have a bad ground or something, hence it turning off at step down.

      @@FLASHAHOLIC_TV did you ever figure this out? I just got mine and turbo turns off at 20s. Re application of turbo turns it on again for only a few seconds before turning off. Using fresh p45b cell

I'm looking for a battery for Lumintop EDC05, my favorite EDC, its plus is that you can always find an AA battery if you need it on the road .. but now I want to buy a good 14500(

      Yeah, when it's cold it can do more than a minute, which is great at 8000 lumens, but I dunno why it turns itself off at the first stepdown

    Bought the Astrolux FT03S with the SFH55 but I’m honestly not that impressed with it. My other Astrolux sbt90 and other lights with the sbt90 is far better imo. What’s the fuss, am I missing something?? Price difference?Please explain

      what is not impressive about it? it gives way better flood than the sbt90.2

      @@floras7826 perhaps because it suck your battery more, and to sustain longer brightness with that high amperage; you need multi-cell configuration, sbt90.2 pulls amp, but those new led pulls more..
