It was the open prongs at 2:10 the plug that went in there plugged in to the other end of the def sensor with the jumper that was included i called the dealer. Thanks though @Dmitry_Freeman
Спасибо большое за данное видео. У меня такая же проблема, надо менять этот сенсор, сам сенсор купил но не могу найти проводку новую и остальное к этой работе
@@DruncleBobdealerships have it, just at other stores but they won’t release it because it’s the only stock left. Long story short yes it’s on back order but should be here soon according to my inside guys.
Добрый вечер. А def heater control valve, это отдельная деталь? У меня написано что она stock open. То есть, кулант постоянно циркулирует по системе при любой погоде и не закрывается
I see that this is an updated version of the old one, we are doing the replacement and getting the updated and the "harness conversion", same as shown on the video. I have a question, did you have to update the ecm or something because I am not getting communication with reductant quality module, code U02A200. Please help!
Very often it’s a damaged wire (yellow or green) close to the ACM. Those are communication between ACM and Def level sensor. Good luck 🤞. You don’t need the update.
This makes no sense to break so quickly on a new truck mines has the same problem manufacturers man they killing as at this point i want make my own truck.
Oh yeah. I never have and never will have a DEF sensor but now I know. I’m gonna go get a raise
Thanks Dmitry, very clear demonstration. This will save me time today
Thank you. Good luck with your repair!

I am former KW dealer tech
@costa1967 I used to work with Volvo and Freightliner. Now I’m working with pickups dodge, ford, Chevrolet
Really wished you wouldve shown where the conversion harness goes that is the only thing i needed help with
It’s the connector that I’m disconnecting on 0:35 timeline. Green and yellow wires.

Find a used one from a salvage yard. There's a nationwide back order on the wiring harness that goes with the new sensor

@@Dmitry_Freeman thanks. I have a question for you, what's that tool that you used it looks kind of like a pair of tongs and where do I get one
@@DruncleBob You can find it on Amazon. Look up “fuel line pliers.”

Great, thanks for your response
@Timur4593 it’s not. No updates required
@Timur4593 often there is a wire problem. Right next to the grey connector. Check yellow and green communication wires .
I noticed you cut two wires off the top of the tank. Is this necessary? Or can they be reused? Thx
These are the wires from the old sensor. I cut them off for ease of access. This is not necessary, you can save it.
My yellow handle broke on the plug. Any idea how to get it off
There are plastic pins on each side of connector. You need to push them with flat screwdriver in order to get it off
It’s update part, after replacing new part, program needed
I replaced bunch of them. No one needed to be updated .

That is so true man! I feel you!
Did you move the fuel tank or was there already that much room? I've only got about 2 inches between def and fuel tank
You don’t need to move fuel tank. Unless you have a bigger one.
