I was so disappointed when I saw the rosters. Sweden is going to regret choosing Arvidsson and Lindholm over Eklund and Zetterlund. What were they thinking??
I think if the Sharks get a really good offer (like a first round pick) they should definitely take it. Otherwise I think it would be up to Granlund, if he wants to go compete for a cup, the Sharks should allow him to do so and make a trade happen even if not super favorable.
@@sharkhaos_probably I think Granlund is not that keen on moving again and since he's getting close to retirement age, he probably would like to finish his career where he is now and where he can be one of the top players. That's just my hunch.
They can probably get a pretty good deal at the deadline for him especially if he does good in the 4-Nations. But if he plans to play for more than a year, then I don't know if they should as right now he can teach the youngsters a lot while they are at the most crucial point in their carreers.
Would have been cool if they also had a cross-league U22 team, for emerging talent. Since it starts with a round-robin tournament this fifth team wouldn't be as awkward as it might seem...
Professor! Showing your vindictive side eh? hahaha On the one hand I understand but, on the other I am kind of glad our guys can rest and get ready for the second half and not risk injury. If it were the Olympics I would feel different but, I am sure the players don't feel that way at all. Pete Clovis, CA
I probably wasn't going to watch the 4 nations tournament, but now I shall also be petty and root against Team Sweden! May they suffer the wrath of an Eklund scorned!!
As a Fin, I will gladly accept Eklund and Zetterlund to our national team. Will also take Celebrini while at it :)

They chose Nyquist too!
All the teams are pretty nuts. Just wondering how they would each fare as an NHL team.
If they got a couple weeks to gel a bit, they’d probably run over every single team.
The world wants to see Mac.
Maybe at the olympics next year haha
Be petty! On board in this case
Muy Profesor' [ pardon moj François ]
Do you think the Sharks should deal Granlund at the deadline? I think he has the potential to wear the C honestly

I think Granlund can go either way, I can both see him retiring as a Shark and getting dealt either this year or in the next couple years

We can always trade him and just sign him again in the off-season

They did something like that back in 2016 with the World Cup of hockey, team North America was for U23 players

Hahaha, that’s what they get for not taking my boy Eklund

go off, professor! Eklund should've been given more respect.
I'm guessing they chose L Carlsson over Eklund bc there would otherwise be no ducks players at this tournament
Maybe, but there aren't any Capitals players, and that didn't stop them from snubbing Logan Thompson.
yea you’re right, didn’t realize there were no caps players and apparently no kraken players either
wdym no depth :DDD
Not no depth just…Less depth
He can't be a real professor, there isn't a degree on the wall.
It’s just out of frame 😉
