Sir i m 2016 mech passout from of the best NIT gave gate twice but could not clear the interview of ongc and iocl becoz got 10-12 marks less but now i got a job in state govt power genration company as asst engineer with monthly stipend of 56k during 1 yr training but i want work in top psu like ongc,iocl,ntpc, i dont want to join,my age is 25 yr,what should i do??pls help
I am final year mechanical student placed in core private job of 5 Lpa . I am not prepared for gate2019 . Should i take a drop to prepare for Gate2020 as i only want Government jobs.
For mechanical in gate you need 80 marks to get in psu, which is hard to achieve. And after doing M.Tech from iits or top nits if you get placed you will have slightly better increments like around 6-8 lpa. So better join job and try to give gate.
sir my college only have placement on IT SECTOR and i dont like programming . i am a electronics student , i want to go for core jobs or higher studies by GATE what should i do if my interest is not on programming ? placement or go for GATE?

Bro plz reply I am really depressed I have 81% in HSC but 52% in HSC after that I did POST HSC diploma in which I got 85% and got into BTech on that basis and till sem 6 I have 8 cgpa in all if I prepare for GATE and anywhow manage to get amazing score and got into IIT will I be eligible for placement there or my HSC marks will create any problems or it might get overshadowed cause I have done diploma?? suggestion for me plzz done 1 yr job in mech field not satisfied with my job so i randomly changed my department from production to quality to maintenance after that i left that job and started preparing for ssc because i thought for techanical job only 1 chance i will get that is gate and after preparing for 1 yr i could get 114 marks and 120 marks are cutoff mark for tier 1 exam in ssc chsl and also prepared for techanical side by side because my interest is to do job in my field. what should i do since ssc cgl exam us ahead and gate couching is started for new batch
