Thanks, Daniel! I never knew that Alan Dean Foster wrote a novelization of the film "The Thing". To be honest, I'm not a big fan of Alan Dean Foster's novelizations, but he certainly seems the "go-to" author for big-budget films.
Just found this channel as I am searching for a copy of this book as I desperately want to read it. I love the movie and I love Who Goes There? and I really like most of Foster's adaptations. Sadly I am still on the hunt as so far I've only found 2 for sale, both over $100 and not in very good shape (I don't mind paying for rare books, but I'd like to be able to read it at least). Anyway glad to find your channel though!

That copy is in incredible shape, appreciate this overview!
Yeah, I am very happy with the condition of this one. Paid a pretty penny for it, that's for sure.
I found “ Who goes there”, in a collection of sci-fi short stories and really enjoyed it.
Great look at your copy of The Thing and your thoughts. I have the UK edition of this, but I prefer the US cover you have with the claw in the ice.
Mike Ploog also had quite a big hand in designing the monsters

Thanks! I got this one for less than $100, but not by a lot. It is, however, in great condition.
