There will be a little extra background noise from my pets, fridge, and heaters (it’s freezing here). Sometime this summer I want to do a garden video too, I’m soooooo excited for it to get warm so I can get started! Do you enjoy this type of video or roleplays more?
madi u have helped me on so many days for so long, on days when my depression is awful n it seems impossible u've got me out of bed, into the shower, eating a meal, and of course back to sleep again!!! i love a mixture of casual chat videos and roleplays! and i loved ur outside video last year, can't wait for more
Im on cell phone and the sound level is as same as usual. For me there no Problem with the microphone. Sound level or quality sound are pretty good to me.
You could talk politics with that quiet calm voice. We are all in heaven. Garden if you can lay something on top of it now (tarp or a old sheet of plywood even cardboard) it will help keep the weeds down so less work in the spring. You west coast mid west east coast or south?
Fun fact: Moose in Algonquin means "eater of twigs" because we are too tall to reach grasses we eat leaves, branches, bark, and shrubs. The best comes from native willow, aspen, and balsum fir trees.
i think this mic would be perfect for that garden video! it sounds good to me and doesn't really sacrifice too much for the freedom of movement it allows, and didn't find any background noise too bothersome at all. i really enjoy this type of video, it's so easy to get absorbed in listening to you talk about something you're so passionate about :)) hi Waffles! :D
It’s fricken crazy that I spend half my days watching house plant tours and I have a huge collection of over a 100+ myself. But then I find out them my fav TH-camr is a plant mom and I literally cried when I saw this video, you combined my two favorite things. I would love to trade clippings ♥️

Nice collection. For the Monstera Albo, they love bright indirect light and the top couple of inches of soil to be dry- so moving to an east or south facing window may help. So if you are watering every 10 days or more and the soil is still damp, that is an indicator it could use more light. Be careful to keep it out of the direct light or it may burn.... just monitor it closely if you try it. If that doesn't help you may want to try some Premium Fiddle Leaf Fig Tree Potting Soil (if you haven't tried it already). (There was definitely a noticeable drop in mic quality- but that is expected) and it sounded fine.

Hi Madi Thank you for sharing your collection of lovely house plants. I loved seeing them all. Don’t worry the plant terms you used are real and descriptive. I like them. I particularly liked the Philodendron silver sword. I was impressed by the moss stick that you made and it was growing up. Please may ask how you made it? It looks so much better than the canes that I use for my plants. Also the lapel microphone sounds great. Your video’s have helped me to relax and get some sleep during some very difficult times: relationship break up, recovering from a cancer operation and the death of my mother. Thank you and keep up the good work.
Thank you so much! :) I use a bamboo pole and sphagnum moss, I wrap the moss around it and secure it with yarn! I’m so glad my videos helped during such difficult times. I’m sorry you had to go through all of that :( I hope you’re doing well 💗

With a bit of luck they will help to make my plants look as good as yours😀. I’ve had 3 clear blood tests post operation so I’m on the way to beating the cancer thank you. Being positive and keeping myself busy helps me to cope with everything else. Night times can sometimes be difficult but your videos help to stop my mind racing and help me get some sleep. Everyday gets a little easier. I can’t thank you enough. Take care and god bless.

Water your pilea like a succulent, when the leaves start to droop, soak it from the bottom. Keep it in well draining soil. They like to be dry. And lots of bright indirect light.
