Francesco showed a lot of CLASS, all things considered. A tighter pocket format will ensure the same big names remain toward the end and dominate the final 16 spots. This is a deceptive fact in which the same could be said in a bigger pocket format. Im not talking about "looser", i mean.... bigger in dimension like it used to be decades ago. In this format, the difference is, you'll never have a Cinderella story and this match here lends toward that fact. On this table and rules, Shane should be able to win a race to 10 every time if he simply applies himself. If a race to 13, Shane is arguably going to win every time no matter what, all things being equal. Now, leave everything the same except....on a regular diamond table and someone like Francesco is more than capable of sneaking up on Shane ....no problem. .... so then, when ensuring a definite outcome every time, then what is the point of an "open" if it gives everyone a chance to enter, but no chance to win or arguably come close? Also, this stupid event looks way too international. It looks like they are playing in some facility over in Dubai. It's called the US OPEN....once again J.U.S.A is the open door mat for anyone and everyone. Notice how a red and blue flavor abounds but.....where is all the WHITE? I hope Dubai and co. do what they did with golf to pool and flip it over on its ass👏🏻
