So thankful for this video! Single mom here, in nursing school with a tight budget. My dryer quit working and I thought I was going to have to replace it. Thankfully I found your video and it made it so much easier (and cheaper lol)!! Appreciate you taking time to teach others!

Awesome video, really helped me save a lot of time. There was a small tab on the 2 wire connector. It was on the front plate side, just pull the tab up lightly and pull the connector apart. Thanks again.

I have exactly model. Was trying to go thru back panel til I saw your video. As for the upper plug you couldn't disconnect, mine had a tab and came apart in seconds. Now to search for my belt. Using number on belt. Thanks buddy.

Thank you for the helpful video. I was hesitant at first but after not finding a repair person in my small town I looked this up and was amazed at how easy it was to swap out the belt. My dryer was making a screeching noise. Turned out the belt was good but lint build up was causing it to screech. I went ahead and replaced the belt since it only cost $8 on amazon, cleaned it out and used compressed air to dust out all the electronics in the back. It is worth noting that it is a good idea to keep an eye on the front clips that hold the screw in place.. I almost lost one. I also found it is easier to put the front panel together if you mark the clip on base and hole on front panel with a sharpie (i did not have any help and took me a couple of tries aligning clips) Thanks again... Have a great day!

Great video. Very helpful, I had to change heating element in this exact dryer and leaf blower the lint out from the back. Ended up getting lint wrapped around drive shaft for motor and wouldn’t rotate drum. Reaching in through hole in back I thought I could just pull the belt off and the tensioner stay there. Alas, it did not….. so glad to have found your video now I know why I couldn’t figure out where it was supposed to go!

  • @EThorne77

The wiring comes apart, you need a small flat screwdriver to pry away from the locking ramps(clip mechanism) it is tricky so I understand the caution to just leave it alone and carefully slide the front panel out of the way so you have enough room to work
