Very good review on this one Safa , and you getting better and better at the reviewing . I must say this suv compete with some high-end ones at way more features and looks very good too .
Jamaica is more and more moving into a new car country. More brands are coming in evrey year, there is a need for more car reviewers and car reviews. With that said, this review is a good start for anyone looking at this vehicle. Im very pleased this is in RHD unlike the T2, at first I thought that was the catch, something with top spec Jolion features at the price of the base Jolion(yes im using another Chineese brand as a comparison because the other brands cannot compete on value anymore, a Toyota Yaris Cross costs a little more than this, thats a smaller car and its the base non hybrid model to put that in perspective) and a base Grand Vitara isnt giving you these features.
This is a very good car and Changan i have a changan. Jetour and changan are mostly driven in south America very good chinese brand. No bad review very fancy everything you said about this car is correct to the T. If u nuh own one then u nah know if the reviewer talking facts 😂😂😂big up Asafa
Today I saw the defender for the first time, on video it look small. When I saw it today, that vehicle massive inna realife. I had to take a look at it again just to make sure just before fully walking pass it.
@jromedj22 It's funny you should say reliability. Other than the Toyota and Honda brands, who else makes cars that run for years reliably? Nothing out of Europe is reliable. Nissan has been around for decades and they still make crappy cars. So what are you really asking?
@captainjack6890 All facts, that's main reason I daily drive a Honda and keep the Audi park. I would put any faith in a 6 year old car company. China is not the place we think of when it comes to quality or reliability.
This you shouldan a do long time me boss, want a broader niche, review best used cars value for money to buy in 2024 , different tiers as iot relates to affordability and also do for new......cyaah miss impossible plus i also wanna see
With a new brand your point of contact is the dealer. That will be the case until more supply channels are built out. You cant expect Toyota levels of parts availability in a new brand far from its home market. Until then, there is Ali Express.
Great review thanks for sharing,But I don’t trust these Chinese made cars,I’m not sure how the body panels would hold up ,engines and transmission not sure,I would not buy one.
Chineese cars have gotten alot better than they were twenty years ago. These are not the Chery QQ's that came and went. They have held up over all, GWM is a good example, the only one with any concern is MG but despite that I would drive a MG GT right now. Test drive one if you get a chance, doesnt even have to be this, try a Haval or GWM.
Its not everyone have the same version of beautiful. First thing first, that vehicle isnt reliableand it definitely doesn't have no taste to the eyes. Asafa will say anything because he's not buying it, he's only trying to promote the brand.
If you check other markets where these are sold in both lhd and rhd they dont have issues with them. If youre going to levy that critique of the review you might as well levy it and 90% of all reviewers out there, hell some of them dont even own thier own car, they just use the revolving door of long term review cars for thier own use. The car itself is not bad, no other car in the market is giving you these features at this price, not even Haval.
Stop chat fuckery. You know nothing about these cars or any fucking new car for that matter. How the fuck do you come to the conclusion that a brand new car, brand new model in fact, is not reliable??? Have you done a hundred thousand kilometres in one and never told us? No one I know who owns a Jetour right now have anything bad to complain about the cars. Plus it uses a fucking toyota engine. Bet yuh bloodclaat never know that. All 3 are using toyota derived engines. Suh shut the fuck up bout not reliable.
One thing I don’t rate about the channel, Asafa isn’t real about certain brands. Yes I understand that your trying to grow your channel and probably a seek sponsorship from local Jamaica but u need to be honest with us as viewers. This review was bias, not one negative thing was mentioned 😂

I dont agree with the look sponsorship thing, thats nonsensical to comment but i was a bit concerned when asafa never str8 up say taller passengers would have a bit of room challenge around the back because it was clear he had little to no room. He basically shy away from highlighting a clear disadvantage. My opinion
Watching from the 🇬🇧 don't buy these chinse made cars in Jamaica i have worked for MG in the uk these chinse cars are made very cheaply and will breakdown if not fall apart i have witnessed it lol
Ok, so here goes, I wouldn't buy this, or any of the three. If you know anything about fleets locally you would have known that most of these cars are manufactured by Great Wall Motors. They are the absolute worst when it comes to reliability and durability. Don't get me wrong, their cars will look pretty nice brand new but after 5 ten years of operation they fall apart, real bad. Example, back in 2011 i worked for a manufacturer in Jamaica that has retail coordinators that move between stores island-wide. As a cost saving measure the bought some of the GWM vehicles for them to drive, they looked good and cost less than the regular Japanese imports. Within 3 years, they all started to rot and i mean rotting to the point where things were falling off and being held on by tape. The chassis was rotting out and in some cases the bodies were twisted because the sub structure was gone or almost gone. These were varying models so it wasn't a shipping defect. Because of my experience with them, i am always on the lookout for them on the road, mental conditioning i guess and almost every time i see a vehicle from GWM its in a dilapidated state while being relatively new (based on model year). They are a bad buy, its that simple. You ask why the cost is so low, want to take a guess? These people are capable of making good products, if the electronics industry is any indication but for some reason, especially with these cars that come here the quality doesn't seems to be there. If you think am joking, condition yourself to start looking for Chinese cars on the roads and see the state they are in. Then compare them to the regular manufacturers and you will see. If you work hard for your money and value it, these cars are not worth it, even if they are giving them away. By the way, most of the comments i see here are about looks etc, looks don't mean anything if the vehicle is falling apart under you. My opinion is that its better to get a vehicle with the lowest of trims that you can comfortably drive for 25 years with only regular oil changes etc than to have a nice dashing car that wont serve you for 10 years. If you have money like that and are loose with it, then you can do anything you want but if you value your money and consider a vehicle as an investment (not an actual investment as they are depreciating assets, but rather something that you put a significant amount of money in) you are better off buying something less flashy that you know will be with you until the rims fall off if you treat it right. That's my 2 cents.
I think that you’ve found your niche. You do very good car reviews, Asafa!
This review was dashing. Top notch review. You sold it for Jetour!
Love how you getting better and better can see a lot of growth in the channel

I like the vehicle has some modern designs that catches the eyes. What’s maintenance like though?

Fuel Economy and Maintenance are important
There is no track record on reliability.
@@jromedj22 Their is always data cause the company been around since 2018 which isnt long by the way

Was thinking the same thing.
People in Norway and Australia can't be happier with their Chinese made cars.
It's not just over 5 million it 50k less 6 million. 5.95 million is almost 6 mil Asafa.
All JETOUR MODELS IN JAMAICA ARE TOP MODELS THEY ALL COME FULLY LOADED💯

Great reviews, Asafa!!!! Can you review the Beijing X55
Good going man
I am having a really hard time choosing between Jetour and Beiging x55
imagine rims on that machine 😮
Getting parts for these vehicles is my area of concern, the condition of these road you gonna need front end parts within two years
As with any new vehicle, no dealer, traditional or new stock, or many parts anymore, you'll have to special order. That's how it is
That's not true. Common parts are stocked for most manufacturers @@pistondo

Some of the parts are from Toyota. You'll be fine
