I feel blessed to have been born in the bay and to have witnessed this dynasty bringing the warriors franchise to the highest levels. I remember my grandpa taking me to a game in 09 and telling me how good monta Ellis was and how we just got this young kid who’s jersey was sold out at the oracle so I ended up getting a Andres Biedrins Jersey. The bay is the greatest place on earth

I think the most underrated thing about Stephs game is him screening to get other players open and the gravity he creates without ever having to touch the basketball just set them apart from everybody else and there's no slight towards magic but steph is the goat

1:01:46 Not so much a question about "which 4 players" as a glimpse into thought process, problem solving, priorities, perceived values, and how to best combine individual components such that they equal more than the sum of their parts. The protracted pause as DG processed various permutations in search of a solution was fantastic. Many could offer a quicker answer, even a good one, few can offer such a considered answer though.

Jamal Crowfrod and AI were my crossover inspirations growing up.
I guess one reason the talking heads (and lots of fans) can think they KNOW is that basketball is a lot more...visible. Anyone can see not just the shots and passes, but to a degree also the screens, the matchups, the strategic moves, at least to some degree. (And it's happening in a much smaller space, compared to football.) And any given one of those things, isolated, is not too hard to understand. BUT as Draymond and Jamal know and are saying...the whole thing, as a whole...there are so many layers, and it's so dynamic, and understanding all that and being able to process it and as they become a more developed player, apply it at a higher and higher level in live action.

The Warriors under Mark Jackson lead the NBA in fewest passes before a shot twice, which surprised me because he was a point guard. I think Jackson instilled the idea of playing good defense. Kerr's offense of ball and player movement that people enjoyed watching along with Jackson's defense is what made the Warriors dynasty ...

I'm happy to see a player like Wemby come into the league. If you take 2 inches off his height, same wingspan, jump 12 inches higher, add 40-50 lbs of muscles, faster, strong and more endurance and you have a young Wilt Chamberlain. I'm 75 years old and remember Wilt as a young man not the player that most people remember on the Lakers that had bad knees and over weight because of the bad knees.
Draymond, the intellectual is cool, but I like the Draymond that sophisticated menace that gets in the opponents head and having a great time doing just a little more.

I think the game limits is fair for the bigger awards like mvp but for all nba I agree let the voters decide if the games they did play were enough. If a guy plays 60 games and wins 55 he damn sure deserves that all nba spot

I've been a warrior fan since the 80 s because i grew up in East Oakland so A'S , warriors, and Raiders for some people because they left in 83 so some jump ship on the other side of the bay rocking with the 9ers .But the good,bad and the ugly I've always rock with our team even though i get cap on for wearing a Golden State warriors jersey at school because we were trash for a long time LoL Run TMC were good days but it were times we were so weak you can just walk right in and sit down and watch the game LoL unless Jordan came to town and it will be a sell out i stayed in the village so you could hear the crowd from my porch when it was a A,'S game that was crazy and i think the Raiders came back in 95;🤔dam im old LoL

Whenever Mark Jackson gets brought up people inevitably want to tear him down and say he didn't do this or the offense was that. However true those criticisms may be, Klay, Dray and Steph all credit him for the FOUNDATION that their future success was built upon. He instilled within then a confidence, a work ethic, a direction and a defensive mindset that carried them to 4 titles albeit under a different coach. It's like when people say a house has good bones: Frame is strong, roof is good, foundation is solid. What Kerr did was essentially remodel the kitchen and bathrooms and landscape the yard. Ultimately those remodels are what sold the house but without the "good bones" it's nothing

The rule change that would help would be that contracts cannot have incentives for all star MVP etc. Either you earn the award or you don’t but you don’t punish your body for it. You play when healthy and the team is fined if you don’t. Like draymond and Jamal said, we know who is load managing

Part two of my first comment, a kid gets and time playing against good competition will allow the kids to grow and learn the game better, what's lacking with the majority of the youth in basketball today, is basketball iq, they don't watch the game enough

Love Klay but he lucky this the 1st time coming off of the bench after the 2 injuries he had. Steph came off the bench plenty of times after a return not to ruin chemistry.
I don’t think Draymond gave the full scenario with Alijah Arenas. Yeah he plays his school ball at Chatsworth but he plays with the Compton Magic where everybody is the guy. So yeah he’s a good 1on1 player but he knows how to play within a system and play good team ball.
