Hello Dear Devi vara,
For turbine running auxiliary power required which is coming from grid.
First part
Its due to when your Production plant consumption is more than power generation for example If we have 3 MW turbine power generation and our plant load is 4 MW then we have to take power from grid.Now days Industries are using double power plant in synchronised in such a way that there is no need of grid.
