If you adjust the Overmars sale for inflation, we sold him for what would be £61m today. That's pretty much what Man Utd sold the likes of Lukaku and Di Maria for in very recent years. The current top 4 teams have plenty of players they could sell for that amount or more. There are no Arsenal players who come close and that's a testament to how poorly the club has been run
Agree - Emi is more commanding than Leno, has got good distribution and is a great shot stopper. Only weakness is on 1v1’s but then we have more speed at then back now so hopefully less of those. Would keep him 100%.
I think if we can only get 10-15 for Emi we should look at selling Leno for 40-50 million and that will make more sense getting 20-30 million more without dropping in quality is good business and we can use it to get Partey
I dont see why Arsenal can't get the 20 million for Martinez same with lucas being 30 to 35 million. Pay half now and the other half next season, atleast that way we are getting value for players instead letting them go cheaply
to be fair emi had been patient and is in the position now to put pressure on the club to give him more trust
