    In my opinion, the best rhythmic guitar piece Jimi ever did. Face it nobody does it like Hendrix.

    Nice job! Damn, there are a hell of a lot of notes to remember in playing that one!

    • @GeorgeSPAMTindle
      @GeorgeSPAMTindle 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you learn the keys you don't have to remember the notes, they just come naturally. There are a lot of passing notes in this one, and I've only watched it once, but it seems to be in the key of E, played as A Lydian. I anticipate a load of comments correcting me on this one!

      The original song was played on a Gibson, because on that time only Gibson had 22 frets.

      Jimi was mostly known for Fender Strats and rightly so, but he actually played a few different Gibson models as well throughout his career. Including Flying V's, a white Gibson SG Custom, there's even photos of him playing a black Les Paul Custom (upside down!). As far as I'm aware he never played a Telecaster which I find funny since he was such a big proponent of the Strat, but he did play a Jazzmaster in the early days before he formed the Experience

Translation: Wonderfull to see a brazilian playing on these level! You should have a distinct listening to play like that. How long did you take to reach this point of play like Hendrix?

      Tiago Fonseca eu toco guitarra ha 28 anos... desde os 12 anos de idade. sempre gostei muito de hendrix e quando comecei a tocar soh existia a opcao de tirar as musicas de ouvido, pois nao existia essa facilidade do mundo globalizado de hoje. Depois da criaçao da internet e do youtube principalmente, as coisas ficaram muito mais faceis, e assim eu consegui me desenvolver ainda mais na guitarra.

  • @Gruntle
    @Gruntle 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Your hands and the music are out of sync at times, so either there’s an issue with the video, or you mimed the guitar parts for the video after recording them. Despite this, the actual recorded notes are very good. Cheers.

    • @playastheoriginal
      @playastheoriginal  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes, I recorded the audio first and mimed after... Is very difficult to play the whole song as the original in just one shot!

      In this case is easy to figure out. The solo has a note on 22 fret... so, fenders only had 21 frets at that time... Also, the tone is brown like a Gibson.
