    All these experts dang 😂😂😂
    Like football commentators. The give the timestamps for the replays 😂😂😂 good lord, just do your thing girlie they'll figure it out! Maybe they should make a rabbit dispatch video instead, with all the "roght" angles and "fancy ($$) " microphones.
    This was worth the watch just for the tip about keeping the heads on the pill for easier brain tanning!! Thank you so much!!! 💞
    And lordy i struggle with 2-3 at a time, 14 at once is INSANE!!!!

    Meat rabbit breeding for a family is ancient. My late grandparents kept a multicaged rabbit hutch for family meat. This is far chesper, cleaner, and plentiful than chickens. Also, very quiet.

    Another fantastic resource. TYVM
    I admit I was skipping around a bit and I noticed the 30-30 on the table and went ... why the heck.. oh bears. Anyway your stuff is living proof that 100 explanations don't equal 1 good video.

    6:26 The bladder is nearly empty, not because the rabbit didn't drink, but because earlier on in the video, you squeezed all the urine out. You can see it happen around the 4:02 - 4:04 mark where the yellow stuff gushes out as you are looking away when hubby arrives. That's why the bladder is empty.

    Just so you know, I liked and subscribe to you because you mentioned the plethora of other videos that I want to watch. Thank you. But even if you don’t have those videos, letting us know that you plan to in the near future would be just as enticing.
    Thank you so much for sharing! ❤

    I've never seen rabbits hung with hooks on other channels. Always hung with slip knots that I hate. They're always slipping out on me. Definitely going to try your way. Thanks.

    If everything is under at least a foot of snow, and you get out wearing a shirt, I guess you *do* need ice in your drinking water :)

    Could you do a small video about liver health? Maybe right when you’re processing a rabbit with bad liver health. Just so we know what to look for, how to change their diet or add what supplements for healthy liver help?

    The audio video sync.
    I didn’t notice it until you mentioned it. Can you redux some old homesteading “how-to” videos from when you have first started. For the TH-cam algorithm, they tend to get stale around 1-2 years. And you may have something to add or better of doing those. Thanks!

  • @heidigendron3638
    @heidigendron3638 19 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

    Some syncing issues can be due to viewer Internet speed. If local playback isn't syncing it could be your editing software. Some are better than others at clipping video and audio as one unit. Others separate the tracks and fail to sync them during splicing. Unfortunately the better ones also cost more. So, depending on your budget, upgrading might not be an option right now. ❤

    Great video. I didn't see any syncing issues tho. I replayed because you mentioned but looks good on my end. Maybe you had slow internet. And I'm a thousand percent in agreement with you opposing the capitalization off our community skillshared Knowledge or passes generations.

    8:09 this is a little bit confusing to me where you say to 'twist inwards', but you clearly show twisting the foot outwards, your elbow moves outwards with the foot.
    At 7:55 you also say to twist in towards the body, but there again you actually show twisting it outwards (the foot goes away from the body, as does your elbow).

    • @CedarHillsHomestead
      @CedarHillsHomestead  20 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      We raise or hunt most of it! We’re not set up for pigs yet so we do buy pork for now. Other than that, we’ve replaced beef with venison and grocery chicken with home raised chicken & rabbits and wild quail. On occasion we will buy chicken for visiting guests but that is about it. It has certainly made our groceries affordable! ♥️

      I've personally had to leave a deer hanging overnight, and had to go back to it when it's frozen. You can still work with it, might just be different.

    I like your rustic no bs content. Still, this video could be better. Its hard to see what you are doing (a better angle or a second close up camera would help); it's hard to hear what you are saying (a lapel mic or voice over would be better). And yes, audio is still not synced with video when you're facing the camera.
    Btw, why not lock directly in the camera?
    Anyway, I'm not trying to bash on you, but you're 10 months and 160 videos in TH-cam, so your production quality should be improving to keep the upward trajectory of the channel, started by great content.
