From Bangladesh, here to respectfully and honestly provide context. I kindle urge everyone to read please. It will be much appreciated.
    1) Let’s all acknowledge that sheikh hasina’s government was an autocratic government. She jailed and prosecuted almost all the opposition party and used BCL (Bangladesh Chatro League/ Bangladesh Student League) to commit all forms of atrocities for years. She has been in power for over 16 years and during this time, the country has been crippled with corruption at every level of government. Over the last decade, over 100 billion dollar have been laundered out of the country all while the economy was slowly collapsing.
    2) The students started the peaceful protest last month against reserving 30% spots in all government jobs and public universities for the descendants of freedom fighters. Bear in mind, the existing quota system has already been grossly abused to favor giving positions to pro government goons aka Bangladesh Chatro league (BCL). So students were already being discriminated against and this just added insult to injury. In response to this peaceful protest, the police open fired and killed over 50 students in one day. The protests got even stronger and so did the killings by the police and BCL (Bangladesh Chatro League). BCL was openly firing on unarmed protestors under the protection of cops. Over the length of this protest over a thousand have been killed (75% of which were students) and over 7 thousand jailed. Helicopters were flying by while brush firing down. 10 children under the age of 10 died in their own homes and roofs because of this. The protest got even stronger. Sheikh Hasina, during this time, not only failed to take responsibility but called the protestors terrorists and rajakars.
    3) Throughout the entire protest, students did their very best to be peaceful but as more children and students died, the anger of the people grew. Imagine your fellow brothers and sisters being shot indiscriminately just because they asked to be judged based on merit. Won’t you be angry? But even then, until sheikh Hasina resigned, students committed no violence on anyone. Unfortunately, things were about to change….
    4) after sheikh Hasina resigned and everyone was celebrating, a group of people stormed the Gono bhaban (president’s house) and looted the place. They were also vandalizing local stores. But remember that this is a protest lead by students and many of the vandalizers were not students (evident from the videos). However, students quickly spread the word on the internet and volunteering groups started forming to bring back a lot of the stolen property and safeguard the existing government properties. Most people online shunned such behavior of vandalism as well and encouraged everyone to do the right thing.
    5) later that night, we started hearing that temples were being attacked and minority stores were being attacked. Some of these attacks did indeed happen but we realized by cross checking that many of the pictures spreading on social media were recycled. Meaning some pictures from violence that took place in 2018 and 2022 were being reused as recent pictures of recent attacks. Screenshots (social media communication screenshots) also started circulating of Bangladesh Chatro League members directing attacks on local minorities and temples. The objective was to create a Muslim vs other religion situation and trigger unrest. Students were also immediate to take actions in this regard. They formed local groups to provide protection to religious monitors. Pictures, posts and calls of these groups providing protection to minorities circulated the internet. Muslims were protecting the temples and churches. It was a beautiful scene.
    6) later at night, after the police that unjustly killed students got scared. They formed a coalition, accessed the armory and went on a March on the street. Nobody knew where they were going but they were shooting left and right on their way and we lost many fellow countrymen. A rumor also started circulating that these people were Indian RAW agents but everyone was asking for evidence for such claims, many even laughed it off. Ultimately, the raw rumors weee debunked.
    7) Dear people, what we went through is a revolution. A Revolution to create an independent, corruption and violence free Bangladesh. Instability and violence are typical elements of a revolution but that moment of vulnerability doesn’t define a nation. We are in the process of forming an interim government today and will declare general elections soon. People have made one thing clear: no Bangladesh national party, no Jamaat and certainly no theocracy. We, the current generation are committed to creating a Bangladesh where people of all age, color, race and religion can live in peace. Will it be achieved in one day? No, but we are committed to it and we will protect our fellow brothers from any religious extremism. We want to be a proud nation like as well but we must be given the chance to rebuild. Please don’t define us by our lowest moments. It’s important to see the whole picture. Thank you for listening

@@chillandrelax3783 BCL did that to create controversy about recent revolution. Just think nobody attacked minorities at this whole time and suddenly got attacked when we won. When students realized the conspiracy of BCL they sent guard to minorities and you Won't believe many pro islamist party went to tample just to safe guard hindus(you will find many pic in social media about it). And one last thing, you should know students mean all the students(inculding all the hindu students). Religion has nothing to do with our recent mass uprising.

She was given 40 minutes to leave in a military plane or sacrifice her life. The military decided to topple the elected government under the influence of western powers. an elected government with just 51% votes is a legit government. A mob of 49% of people if not controlled will be able to take over the country which is mob justie. A similar thing happened when trump lost election 4 years back, but the military in america treated the mob as traitors and stopped them because they have integrity and respect for their constitution unlike Bangladesh military.

Army top brass and generals did the right and honest thing. How could you open fire to the Nation as your top leader told you to. The leaders will come and go but the Nation will be there firever. Its the Nation who elects you to power. If The Nation wants to let you go you must go. Its the nation who comes always first. The Bangladesh army could not have done better. Some corrupt dictator might wonder if that fateful day the Bangladesh army was strict and ooened fire to the whole country pm Hasina might be still the self declared Prime minuster of Bangladesh. But then the Democracy whi madam Hasina was so proud of would be dead in that fatedul day. When there is a revolution there will some chaos and deaths and mismanagement in the first phase but then you get back your lost power and Freedom.

Revolutions can occur in prosperous times due to unmet expectations, social inequalities, and political repression. Key factors include collective action, shared grievances, strong leadership, and compelling narratives. Historical examples, like the French Revolution and Arab Spring, show that economic growth alone can't prevent revolutions if political and social needs are ignored.

Sheikh Hasina’s unexpected and shocking ouster is for all intents and purposes a U.S.-instigated and sponsored ‘regime change’ coup (using and manipulating the student protests) that succeeded quicker than was perhaps expected ultimately due to the Bangladesh military’s decision not to back the PM’s last stand on Aug 5. There is not much mystery to it all. I’m sure that I’m hardly alone in understanding it the way I just described it.

When Hasina realized that her army leadership is going to betray her in favor of Uncle, then she decided to leave the country for her own safety. The only reason she could get a last minute fly-out is that General Walker is married to Hasina’s cousin sister Ms. Kamalika.

Whole story short : The protest to reform quota system started before 2018 and Hasina used force using her student wing , BCL and the police . But due to excess pressure, she cancelled the total quota system . The cancelled quota system again started in 2024 and the students again protested . Firstly , she avoided the mass protest and then showed irresponsible harsh attitude to the students . Then she again used force using BCL ( her student wing ) & the police . Many students got killed cruelly . In response , she blamed everything on opposition parties and her ministers , high officials gave very lame, irresponsible statements . This made the people even more angry on her . In fear of further protest , the police started to arrest students, people in mass number . Thousands got arrested in only 2 days . The students realised that they won’t get justice unless she got ousted from the power . So the quota reform protest turned into a protest for her resignation . Almost Hundred stds got killed on 4 August . The army ( that used to support her ) understood that its impossible now for her to stay in power , and pressurised her to resign to prevent more bloodshed .

@@tonmoytahsan654 Democracy means two sides of story, not only one side of propaganda. It's easy to flow with tide, hard to observe during sliding. Md Younus is bet of CIA & he is close to Hilary Clinton. He funds Democrat party. Go & cross check, Most of the noble peace prizes are political tool of west. Pakistan's Imran Khan, Nicaragua crisis, Venezuela, to ShiekhHasina, all were undone by CIA. US bureaucrat Donald-Lu played role in SouthAsia, and student thought they had done it.😅 Jamaat-e-Islami which has student wing too has links with ISI, and CIA tapped it. Building Resources Across Communities (BRAC), an international development organisation founded by Sir Fasle Hasan Abed in Bangladesh is heavily funded by USAID and the Gates Foundation. Interestingly, BRAC University, which stemmed from BRAC (the organisation), has been the centre point of the protests in Bangladesh.
ShiekhHasina has already warned it earlier, even US ambassador when left Bangladesh was furious that ShiekhHasina denied military base. Bangladesh military has 3 factions - one has soft corner for India, other two has soft spot for China & Pakistan. US has spent more than $2B dollar in name of Rohingya humanitarian aid.
Do you think its okay to uproot democratic elected govt? Do you think Awami League can fight another free & fair election now, if it happens? Don't you think Awami League people are Bangladeshi too? Do you think people get fear to vote now? Do you think those were students who show off Bra & ladies garments in parliament, or the one who broke Mujibur idol? What about uprooting Media? Isn't police died too, who killed them? You people are too naive, my friend. It always easy to manipulate angry crowd. This incident will hurt image of Bangladesh & economic prospect.
A quote From Game of Thrones, "Power resides where men believe it resides. It's a trick. A shadow on the wall. And a very small man can cast a very large shadow." Until yesterday, it was with Hasina, now it lies in hand of Md Younus, Jammat-e-Islami & segment of B'desh Army...i.e. CIA. In few days students get busy with study. You'll taste pseudo quasi democracy, with different master this time.

Please note the following: 1. In 1971, Bangladesh fought a nine-month-long war for independence. When victory was imminent, India intervened at the last minute to fraudulently claim our victory. To set the record straight, we Bengalis liberated Bangladesh in 1971, not India. Please do not thank India for this. India's involvement in the final moments of our victory was selfish and deceitful, as they were happy to see Pakistan break up.2. India has been using its puppet regime, the Awami League, to control Bangladesh, especially during the last 15 years under its puppet, Hasina.3. Hasina has committed numerous high-profile assassinations, political killings, and forced disappearances on direct orders from India. Both we and India are well aware of this, no matter how much India denies it.4. When the people of Bangladesh overthrew India's puppet government, the Awami League, and swore in the interim government led by Dr. Muhammad Yunus, every country's ambassador and high commissioner attended the swearing-in event, except India's high commissioner, Prannoy Verma. This proves that India has been interfering in the internal politics of Bangladesh by supporting their puppet, Hasina. 5. Hasina has committed genocide and thousands of political killings, yet the Indian government has not once condemned it or raised its voice against it. This is because most of these actions have been carried out on India's orders.6. Whenever the Indian puppet Hasina is in trouble, she and her master India always play the "Hindu" and "minority" card, with the Indian media pumping out nonstop propaganda. 7. In Bangladesh, Muslims, Hindus, Christians, and Buddhists are all safe and do not see themselves as minorities, as Muslims treat them as equal Bangladeshi citizens. However, attacks that occur during Hasina's political troubles are actually carried out by the Indian puppet Awami League regime's men, so India can amplify its media propaganda. 7. India is foolishly trying to use the "Hindu" and "minority" drama to try to get their puppet Hasina back in power, trying make it out that Hindus are only safe under Hasina only.
    8. Real violence and violations of minority rights actually take place in India. The United Nations has issued a report condemning the Indian regime for violating the rights of minorities, including Sikhs, Buddhists, Christians, and mainly Muslims. 9. Mr. Modi led the Gujarat riots in 2002 against minority Muslims and was barred from entering the United States for his involvement in Hindu fanaticism. When Modi was elected Prime Minister of India, the United States removed the ban, which I believe will be reinstated once Modi leaves office. So, my message to India is: do not lecture other countries on protecting the rights of minorities when it is not a problem in those countries but is in India! The Canadian government has confirmed that the Indian government sends Indian agents to assassinate Sikhs. When the people of Bangladesh are angry at the Awami League and burn the houses of ex-ministers, if a Hindu Awami League politician's house is burnt, it is not because they are Hindu, but because of their affiliation with the Awami League, it has nothing to do with religion, so, stop this propaganda. Finally, any crime on Bangladeshi soil will be dealt with by Bangladesh's law enforcement agencies. Who is India to interfere? When a Hindu in America is attacked, does Mr. Modi become the American police for Hindu affairs? No. So, stop your drama and do not think you can bully us because of your size. Never let your size fool you. Bangladesh is not scared of India. Never.
