    What stood out to me was Janelles comment about the Holy Spirit making Mary the way he wanted her. It is beautiful! And it makes me emotional too. What a blessing Mother Mary is for us! Have a wonderful day!

    I use to help our children get past the wrath of their dad all the time. I would tell him in a much played down way about something one of the kids had done long after they went to bed.
    I love hearing your children in the background. It's amazing how calm you two stay. God bless and have a blessed Marian feast day. ✝️💙🛐

    Love the how you guys explained the vital role of Mama Mary in our Catholic faith, how she was chosen by GOD himself…I believe she is the “arc of the covenant” in the New Testament. So sad that other Christians from other denominations can’t accept that. That we Catholics just give Mama Mary the honour that she deserve for accepting that great role of giving birth to our Lord Jesus here on earth. Mama Mary please continue to guide us your sinful children in our Faith journey. 🙏🙏🙏

    Interesting thoughts, and I'm just now hearing about the Immaculate Conception. My only question is this: Was it actually a NEED for Jesus to be birthed by someone without sin? I just don't see how Mary being sinless or not has anything to do with Jesus living a perfect life...
    No disrespect. Just humbly disagree. God bless, and I'd love to hear your thoughts on my question!

    • @SuperIliad
      @SuperIliad 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Pope Paul VI was asked the question you asked. He chose to give a most Eastern answer: “Because it pleases Him.” To respect your question in this case, we learn that to prevent infecting her Son with original sin, she too would have to be preserved from it. This is the “enmity” between Satan and her offspring. (Gen. 3:15.) In the Gospel of Luke (1:28), the angel calls her “O highly favored daughter,” more accurately “you who are full of grace,” “Kecharitomene.” See that the angel does not greet her as “Mary,” but by Kecharitomene, as if that is her name. And what does fullness convey? No further room for anything else. Replete. Somewhere in the back of mind is still another answer; if I can recall it, I will send it on.

    • @CatholicCat-er9xn
      @CatholicCat-er9xn 3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      It is a great question! We believe that Mary was created sinless so she could carry her sinless son. A common sinner couldn't have carried Jesus as he was perfect. That is why we honor her today. Hope this helps. It is a mystery still too.

    • @Catholicspeaker
      @Catholicspeaker  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Good question - the quick answer, no it was NOT necessary. The Church does not teach it was absolutely needed/necessary, but only fitting or appropriate.

    Jesus water baptism was to wash the stain of sin from Mary. Bible says from David prophecy in sin did my mother conceived me. John the Baptist received the holy Spirit while in his mother's womb. Jesus gave him the greatest accolade " no man born of a woman was greater than John. Isaac was born from his parents who past child bearing. Same as with Samson so we're they untouched by original sin.

      Born of Mary was Jesus, God Himself. David, John, Samson and Isaac are not God. So it is different between the human births and the incarnate birth, in that God who cannot be of sin... cannot be in touch with a dot of sin. Thus He purified His Mother through His own redemptive merits.

    exactly god as in Many gods ,and not the true God , I believe in the One true Living God, Christians Faith , is NO-one is without Sin ,other wise this makes out God, not god as you say, to be a Liar. There is No other intercessor to the Father but Jesus Alone, this is Gods word . The Bible is Gods word ,living truth, Yes many popes etc, brought in many Superstitions to take away focus On God , ( check out the history of how the Faith came into being from Constantine and if you did not obey his way, continued through many centuries , you were fed to the Lions or burnt at the stake ,satan Hates truth, so they introduced any one who read Gods word were Heretics and Burned at the Stake. the True Christians were dealt with horrifically as History points out by many reporters of the day. So to survive the break away ones were then led and continued in mans way ,satan in his cleverness tries to run with some of the Bible and gives a slight twist , as for apparitions Read 1 John 4 verses 1 to 4, God says TEST the spirit to know if it is from heaven or satan in his many disguises. It is Forbidden to contact the Dead and vice versa . Pray for the Dead ? where did this come from? Yes I respect Mary, not to the point of making graven Images, let alone pray to them. Forbidden by God. So I understand more of Mans way, which is totally wrong , the True Living God way which is for me . Many still believe in many superstitions to get to Heaven .There is Only one way to be truly saved as His Word in the Bible is written.

      There is one church established by Jesus Christ and that church is the Catholic Church. It is the church that has the Eucharist, the true presence of our Lord Jesus, his body, blood, soul and divinity the we get to consume at every mass. Jesus handed the keys to Peter, and said that the gates of her shall not prevail against his Church. Martin Luther affirmed the immaculate conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Yes, even the man who started the Protestant Reformation and created "Sola Scriptura" believed in the immaculate conception of Jesus' mother, Mary, our mother. Mary was saved preventatively from contracting Original Sin because of the infinite edits of her Divine Son. As for asking Saints to pray for us, we ask them to pray because they are in heaven with the Lord (not dead). It is not the same as contacting spirits and asking for favors or knowledge, such as using a Ouija board or other forbidden ways of contacting spirits who have passed away. It has been confirmed that they are in eternal heaven with Jesus and so we ask for their prayers. It is the same concepts as asking a friend on earth to pray for you, but since they are in heaven their prayers are even more meritorious.

  • @rolandovelasquez135
    @rolandovelasquez135 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    God's plan from the beginning was to enter into his own creation in the Person of his only begotten Son, who would become 100% God and 100% man.
    So, the 100% God part comes from God Almighty who made heaven and earth, and the 100% human part comes from his 100% human mother.
    Had Mary been conceived "immaculately", she would not have been 100% human and that would have frustrated God's perfect plan. I really doubt that the Lord God Almighty would have frustrated his own perfect plan.
    There is absolutely no need for Jesus' human mother to have been immaculately conceived, a perpetual virgin, or assumed bodily into heaven. Any of those things would have made her less than human and God's plan as I stated before was that his Son be born to a 100% human. The only requirement was that she be a descendant of King David, which she was. And Jesus has brothers and sisters. 100% normal.
    The Roman Church has made a whole other religion out of "The Virgin Mary". No thanks. I believe in the Father, Son and Holy Spirit and in God's Word.
    Jesus said, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.
    John 14:6
    And...
    In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God... In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men. The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.
    John 1:1‭-‬2‭, ‬4‭-‬5
    "The darkness did not comprehend it"

    • @CatholicCat-er9xn

      So tedious. Mary was fully human. Jesus couldn't have been born in a corrupted vessel. God gave Mary the grace to be free of original sin because he willed it. Be careful, because she is Jesus's mom and he doesn't like when she is disrespected.
