@MikeHoncho884 You’re absolutely right. It took me years before I finally got on the motorbike in Thailand. My friends basically had me scared to death and I had no prior experience to riding a motorbike even in the states. I have a prior video where I described when I finally got up the courage to ride a motorbike. I'll try to find it for you at a later time and send it to you. It definitely takes patience and experience I think to take up riding a motorbike here. I always tell people don't do it until you're ready.
When it comes to entry visas for Europe, specifically the EU (often an issue), any inquiries requiring legal advice must involve a duly licensed solicitor or barrister practicing within the EU. Likewise, matters concerning inheritance law, where questions of succession involve the EU jurisdiction, necessitate the engagement of a properly qualified EU lawyer-certainly not a Thai attorney. That said, EU lawyers often collaborate with Thai counterparts, who, in turn, are exclusively authorised to provide legal counsel within the Thai jurisdiction. Concerning the Thai legal framework, a European professional liability insurance is unlikely to provide coverage, as only lawyers licensed in Thailand are permitted.
@@MargaritasinParadise Of course, I cannot speak for American matters, but in Germany and France, legal advice can only be provided by lawyers who are properly licensed and admitted in those countries. This is regulated, for example, by the Legal Advice Act in Germany, and I advise against seeking assistance from agencies that are not connected to such lawyers when it comes to issues like applying for Schengen visas or national visas for family reunification. From our perspective, this is not only questionable in terms of the legal matter, but also risky: no professional liability insurance in case of damage! However, the situation is completely different when legal questions related to Thailand are involved. I personally know of collaborations between lawyers from Germany and Thailand, where colleagues can represent each other, making everything easier. There is likely something similar in place for American and Thai lawyers in large law firms.

@@MargaritasinParadise I just ask a friend of mine in Thailand. Here his answer: "In Thailand, non-Thais can become licensed lawyers if they complete a law degree in Thailand, undergo the required practical training, and pass the bar exam. This is governed by the Thai Lawyers Act and the regulations of the Thai Bar Association. Additionally, foreign graduates must demonstrate proficiency in the Thai language, as all legal procedures are conducted in Thai." BUT: My assumption that a foreign lawyer could be granted a work permit in Thailand is based on the theoretical notion that this might be possible. However, in practice, it is highly unlikely for foreigners, even with a legal education, to work as lawyers in Thailand. Exceptions exist only in the form of collaboration with Thai lawyers as consultants or within international law firms, where the work permit is granted not for practicing as a lawyer but for specific roles. Tom, you’ve made a very thoughtful and insightful point here! You’re the matchwinner!

Only Thai’s can be lawyers in Thailand it is another protected position .. Just ask Ben in Bangkok.
Right, there are specifics when a foreigner can practice law in Thailand.
I would not agree with that. I believe only those who are licensed to practise law in Thailand-regardless of their nationality-should be eligible.
ok, to be clear, Only Thai nationals are licensed to practice law in Thailand. Foreign lawyers are only consultants under specific circumstances.
