- It's the biggest and best model aviation event out there. Everything else wants to meet the benchmark that Nall sets every year @TripleTreeAerodrome. Jon from @TwoBrosRC finally had the opportunity to travel out to Nall 2024 and meet up with so many people and give them a chance to be heard on the channel, too! You know Jon I'm not at all surprised that a lot of people know exactly who you are and how your videos are very entertaining and very insightful to watch you deserve all the"Cred" you got out there if I was to meet you in person I would come up to you and say"Hey aren't you Jon without the H?"LOL. I would've loved to see you flying your 3d set up "Turbo Timber Evolution" or your FMS Super Cub to really wow those guys overthere seeing you putting those "Sleeper 3d planes" through the ringer. Hey Jon now because of your channel I know what Joe Knall is and that might be one more person at the event next time . Also your channel got me into jets! Your rafale high alpha over the water was what got me to into the hobby . Then your taste in music as well I liked the retrowave hits and slow-mo tricks , great combo .

Sucks that we missed ya, man! One thing we can say for certain is that confidence comes with time. You tend to feel like an impostor when you first start off - like "why would anyone listen to me?" but eventually you find an audience and your following grows as you keep uploading. If you build a positive community, you'll see a ton of growth eventually. Keep at it!

Jon, I know you are from the Raleigh area. Are you aware that Joe Nall lived in Smithfield, NC and is buried there. His daughter still lives here. I flew with Joe in his Piper Arrow back in the 80's. We traded being safety pilots when we keeping our instrument ratings current. I still fly model aircraft as well as full scale out of Johnston County.
Nope, we didn't know that. Thanks for the info! Sad to hear that he's gone, but happy to know that such a great event carries on his legacy.
@@TwoBrosRC Joe died in a plane crash in Venezuela in 1988. He was with the NTSB at the time. He was a passenger on that flight.

In the beginning. We didn't focus on the jet exclusively because it wasn't as interesting as the human stories being told.
I thought Nall was a all grass strip? I don't enjoy flying off grass... tarmac or not at all for me
