I live hear. 1 not nice weather all year. Paso and Atascadero can get up to 120 in the summer. 2 beaches are full of tourists and water and sewer are expensive. The houses are old and expensive and there are alot of vacation homes, no community.
Hey Doug! I appreciate your opinions, and I thank you for watching. While no place is perfect, I'm pretty confident that the Central Coast of CA is as good as it can get. Again: thakns for your input.
Old Creek road is a really cool shortcut! We have free use of a home right off Old Creek looking over the ocean just east of the highway. My daughter in law’s family owns two houses up on Bakersfield Street that we use on occasion. Great little town to hang out and the beach is awesome! I think the saloon closed due to Covid. Duckies has great seafood and a good burger and fries:) The cookie shops honey cookies are awesome!
I just had lunch at Duckie's this past Saturday: never disappoints! I do miss that old saloon. Brown Butter Cookies are 🔥 Thanks for watching, Nick! Where's home for you now?
Rebuilt home with Ocean front on market for 13 million or so....just down the road from your first home shown... Like I wrote this area is no longer a " Real " town or community it's a vacation destination like Avila beach ..there are some old timers here but this "town " is no longer theirs...it belongs to the tourist and 2....3....4th investment home people....
Oh ! You have a dog in your car...I thought you had picked up a hitch hiker from all the heavy breathing I heard.....all things change Cayucos was years ago a real town and very beautiful and honest ...now and for many years it's just a " Disneyland town " tourist , real estate offices , fake antiques for sale , beauty shops , and very high priced investment " Homes " that mostly sit vacant until the 4 th of July for a couple nights and vacation rentals and a million motel rooms...It is what it is...a Disneyland stop now..not a real community anymore...well the whole Calif coast is that way now....
Good piece of advice stay off of Old Creek Road they drive it like they think their race car drivers okay this is absolutely wonderful and it's too bad it was taken over by the elite Ranch because now it's nothing but a bunch of snobs the only good place to eat there is the deli😂😂😂
Great place to eat? That's a bit of a stretch. Let's face the facts, Estero is not a great foodie destination. I live here, and it's bleak. If you want food, you go into SLO

I can't say I disagree with you here. $$ talks and home sellers oblige
@@markwilley80 low-key blaming the home owners. You're a scum bag.

Great to hear, and thank you for watching, by the way.

@@shammusomalley8986 I suppose it’s all relative to what’s available in Cayucos. But, their seafood & clam chowder are pretty 💣. Thanks for watching.
