And marine mammals get entangled in plastic fishing nets. Only a few kinds of plastic can be recycled, and it's not cost-effective. Glass can be recycled endlessly, and we never run out of sand or limestone.

The blow mould cavity (2nd forming step) controls the final shape. The air pressure and timing throughout both forming steps is very controlled.
