Be thankful you are still young enough to still punch down the sodas/pops at such a prolific rate. I had to trade down my daily coke sugar/caffeine to black coffee. Eating healthy has its down side. Still treat myself to coke when on long road trips. I use the excuse that staying awake is more important than healthy eating for the day.
Daniel, I hope you noticed the new tractor tires were about 1/2 flat. We live near the Ala parkway. We put up a 30" dia. heavy duty hg trap. We took out nearly 300 head one year. It has been 2 years clear but we are seeing hog "signs" again this fall. It is less work & cost to take them out than to put up with them.
Love seeing you in Alabama do things and the different names you have for the implements. Here in Texas, we call the bedder, a lister, and we combine straight with the rows. What ever works, the freshly turned dirt smells the same---goooood.... Be safe and God bless 👍🇺🇲👍
It’s amazing that you have such fertile ground right next to a gravel pit. Farmers always say how soil conditions vary a lot in just one field. It’s so interesting to me.
Sorghum, also called milo, is truly a versatile crop. It’s one of the top five cereal crops in the world and can be grown as a grain, forage or sweet crop.
Good morning Granny! I really enjoy all the videos Daniel's putting on here for Triple R. As a Kansan I"ve been around a little bit of milo. Two things I've learned are, 1) It's dirty, and 2) it is itchy - right there with oats. First time I've seen Daniel with a smudge of dirt on his nose/face. Has to be due to that dirty milo. 😁
What about that new Case I/H tractor. U didn’t say anything about it but all I can say is you have a real tractor now!! U not going to drive them green tractors. We have the same one y’all unloaded and it’s a man. We love it. We are almost Red on our farm. We have 2 green tractors left and hope they be gone next year!! Hope your milo cuts 100 plus bushel per acre. We use to grow a lot of it here in La. but we grow a lot of sugar cane and soybeans and some corn!! Have a safe harvest and God bless y’all!!🙋🏼♂️👍😎
Had the same problem, blown fuse in the cab. Behind the grey panel to the right behind seat. Cant remember what number. Maybe bottom fuse 65? Might check the book
The United States is the world’s largest producer of sorghum. The Sorghum Belt runs from South Dakota to Southern Texas. The top-producing states are: Kansas - 3.4 million acres Texas - 2.6 million acres Arkansas - 450,000 acres Oklahoma - 440,000 acres Colorado - 440,000 acres
We finished our Milo harvest today, not sure how well it did but our guy said it was the best he’d harvested in the area in spots, and not as great in spots.
Milo looks like it needed more rain. I’m from Kansas and Grow a lot of it!! Awful small heads. Or you planted super thick. There’s a knack to growing milo!!!!
Grain Sorghum makes a wonderful grain for hogs. Smithfield each day has thousand hogs produced here Out west. On the plains where Milo is produced in Texas and Kansas. The seeds are not sticky unless lots of mildew in the leaves. After frost the dust is itchy.
I didn’t look through the comments so this may be a re asked question. However, is there a little eyelet type sensor in that area? I’ve had that issue before. Both in Deere and Lexion. Also, love the videos brother. I come home and watch just to relax and watch bc farming is in the blood. Thanks again. And yes the milo dust is worse than the hybrid rice. Do not miss that.
dang hogs got some chuch and blood family that would love to get some them hogs for ya that new tractor good to see you guys get to upgrade as for the grain cam check that litttle motor bet it has went bad
Daniel, You say you are allergic to everything. I WAS allergic to ALL medicines, all packaged foods and citrus to the point of breaking out in hives. I started putting CILANTRO on my food. It cleans out your blood of anything in it that need not be there. It may not work for what you have but it is a cheap solution for those that need it. I had metals in my blood for 17 years and was extremely sick for several of them.
Talk about leave us hanging, what’s the story with the CaseIH 380 is it yours or just on demonstration? And forgive me for asking being from England but what is Milo?
Great drone footage and looking forward to seeing more of that 380 magnum. It's weird seeing milo being harvested last out of your crops, here in Central Louisiana most the milo is planted in mid to late March and harvested in mid to late July right before corn harvest starts. Will you plant any winter wheat this year?
hey Daniel have you ever thought about naming your combines, perhaps donnie and bobby or maybe clifford and davey or red and neil. what does Daniels grandmother think about it
Nice tractor Daniel, it will be a great addition to the farm. Never been around milo , were all learning something. Looks like you need some serious hog hunters. Hope overall it turn out good for you. Were do you take it ???
Yal must be getting a better deal on CASE than John DEERE or its a demo ? It looks nice i know yoir dad like a kid in a candy store sitting in a new tractor cool ! Good video Daniel & TRIPLE R FARM crew
Daniel, realizing it's your first Milo crop, couple questions. Why did you wait so long to harvest? What was your fert program? Hard to tell from camera, but, heads looked thin. We found on our farm(1980s) that Milo almost required something akin to corn fert program. We didn't do corn, in North MS corn just seemed problematic. But we needed a crop that could be harvested before cotton or soybeans. Planting in narrow rows gave us about a 120 bushel yeald on marginal to average ground. We usually harvested around first of September. And I absolutely hated the itch!! Lol You better guard that red tractor, else the green ones might beat it up and cut the tires late one night!?!?
Why did ya"ll decide to plant milo instead of wheat this year. If you could answer on video I would appreciate it. Seems like you did some testing on best way to plant, then none planted this year. Love your videos. Try me best not to miss one.
Didn't think I would see another red field tractor on your operation, looks good. Please don't put one of those ugly front mounted tanks on it. What is the market for milo in AL?
Sorry Daniel. I’ll give it a month but prolly unsubscribe mate. If you’re going Case that’s it for me brother. Case never invented a single thing of their own. Just bought companies and destroyed the IP they are junk. Politely they are crap. You had a good thing going there but I’m out.
@@deangelojeremitriusvickers6319 mate; calm down. You obviously got out the wrong side of the bed. Opening few minutes was unloading red junk: may or may not be an acquisition so I said I’d give it a month and see what transpires. I have operated case; it’s junk. Especially in row crop. John Deere rain supreme. I’m not gonna waste my time watching Case if that’s how the farm is going. I don’t expect the farm to follow my desires but it would be very rude of me not to give these nice people a reason why I unsubscribe. I’m simply not interested in case crap. It’s a free world. Get over it.
Ok good job of leaving us hanging regarding the Case Tractor delivery. Did notice was slightly larger horsepower than your Jd's. Will there be another truck bringing a 24 row planter too? You definitely stirred the Jd/Case di hard brand loyalist pot. I look forward to see the fuming comments. All farms are different and I assume price/availability were major factors. I guess we just have to be patient.
Even if you don't eat the hogs could give them to people who can use them. Yawt yawt calls it knocking heads and feeding families. He has list of people who want them he has people that process them and take some meat for the work and they call people on list to come get meat.
Good afternoon Granny, hope you had a great week. Beautiful weather here in Michigan for the next ten days Take care and have a great weekend. Stay safe !!!
Hello Granny and Triple R Farms Daniel i see a new Case 380 on the scene
That was the first time I’ve seen a rotor turning in a video.👍

You teased us on the opening with that beautiful Case!! When are we going to get to see it in action??
Like all your videos here in NC in a small town called Lake Waccamaw ,tell us about the tractor
Daniel, I hope you noticed the new tractor tires were about 1/2 flat. We live near the Ala parkway. We put up a 30" dia. heavy duty hg trap. We took out nearly 300 head one year. Good morning, Granny!! Tell us about the Case tractor. Great Video. 👍
Good afternoon form Texas

Good morning Granny! New Tractor on the farm that exciting! Hope you have a wonderful start to the Weekend.
Almost forgot always awesome drone footage !!
Looks to me like those tires need some air
Good luck on the hogs. They are smart. And survivors.

Good morning Granny. That milo dust itches like wool on your skin. Very good video Daniel 😊

Hello , Granny. Thanks for the video, Daniel I have never seen milo grown. I dont know why it's not grown around me in south east North Carolina.
Daniel!?You spring a new red tractor on me with no explanation or walk around,WTF!!???LOL!!!
Did you know milo seed will pop like popcorn? Take some and try it, we planted milo for many years in south central illinois
Had the same problem, blown fuse in the cab. Behind the grey panel to the right behind seat. Cant remember what number. Maybe bottom fuse 65? Might check the book
when are we seeing the new tractor at work?
Hello from Serbia🇷🇸 beautiful Case🚜
We grew milo for years. Used to as hog feed, ground it up in a hammer mill.
Your only supposed to get the milo head not the whole plant. And it's itchy just like fiber glass
Good morning Granny. Hope u and everyone are doing great. Love all the videos.

I use round bars for milo east central il works great with greener leaves. Have great luck in 30 inch rows allows us to cultivate it
Love the video’s. Keep up the good work

I like that New Caseih Magnum tractor!!! I grew up with International Harvester tractors!!! 7220 was the best tractor we ever had
Nice tractor Daniel, it will be a great addition to the farm.

I bet fuse 065 is blown that’s why you’re getting that code
I have cut a lot of milo in my time and yes it's very itchy and hard on the eyes.

Good job James, what kind of music you listen to doin the all day back n forth
Gotta keep Sunsouth honest… 😂
Check the fuses that’s pretty common
Please explain to me "why do you cut cross the rows? I see you do this on beans too. WHY?
Even out the wear on the cutter bar
Didn't think I would see another red field tractor on your operation, looks good. Please don't put one of those ugly front mounted tanks on it. What is the market for milo in AL?
Mag380 is a stout tractor
What is milo, what is made from it
Milo dust use to itch me worst around my eyes and where your elbow bends on your arm
Good morning Granny
For a city boy that had never farmed . What is Milo?
Grain sorghum
Daniel what type of grain is Milo and what is it used for
So what’s up with the new case trade?
What is milo grain used for
Is milo used for cattle feed?
Most of it is sent to China for hog feed and brewing alcohol.
Why bed. Never seen that done in michigan
You raise the bed to help get moisture in there before planting and provides a seed bed as well
Gotta love your dad being the bull in the China shop. A wee bit overbearing to me. Just my thoughts and not my money
Big tractor!! Do y’all own the gravel pit?
Nothing worse than milo dust!!!!

CASE-IH!!!!
Yes I loved it when I seen that Case IH being delivered,, I was wondering when you'll was going to get another one, after the other Case IH went down.
Nice to see your hard work pay off.😊😊

Good morning Granny, Daniel when we going to get to see that Beautiful New 380 , awesome machine ❤
Milo sample looks good Daniel. We use large wire before a freeze and small wire after freeze
Milo harvest followed by a dove killing.
Have shotgun can travel
Good afternoon Granny, hope you had a great week. Beautiful weather here in Michigan for the next ten days
Take care and have a great weekend. Stay safe !!!
Good morning Granny have a great day
