No joke that scene with Paige sympathizing with Rick is one of my favorite scenes of whole show. The one person who he thought would enjoy his humiliation the most and was even behind the prank was sorry that that happened to him. And he finally got to properly apologize to her for what he did to Terri which resolved their conflict. At the time, it made Rick totally change his mind about the shooting (before Spinner and Jay ruined everything). It really showed things didn’t have to turn out the way it did. But I think most of all, the scene showed that even a little kindness and compassion can really go a long way. I really do view Rick as a tragic and sympathetic character.
You know whats crazy about that whole thing, Rick abused Terri who was friends with Spinner, Hazel, Paige, Jimmy, Ashley, and Marco, for the whole school bullying him I kinda understood why but when I saw ppl like Jay and Alex overdoing the bullying I said to myself well this gotta stop because once the paint and feathers thing happened thats when they overdid it. And Jay & Alex wasn’t even a friend of terris to be bullying him like that, they just enjoyed it. Alex was lucky spinner didn’t snitch on her cause she was the one that actually poured it on Rick
Rarely lol it’s just supposed to inform people from different states and countries about this kind of stuff and what could happen and informing Canadians what happens in those states and countries
@@degrassi_fans9455 I live in the United States and to my knowledge school mass shootings only happen here in the USA (which is very sad) and not in other countries, at least to my knowledge I have never heard news of school mass shootings in other countries, this is why I asked the question and since you said rarely does that mean it has happened before in Canada?
there apparently have only been 8, which of course is much much significantly lower than the US. But school violence in general isn’t unheard of here, I definitely remember hearing about kids bringing weapons to school and lockdowns occurring in what were ultimately false alarms. Although statistically low, of course it is possible. I imagine they were taking from those that had happened and also probably Columbine in particular since it was so heavy at the time, which now it’s almost desensitizing how often these instances are heard of.
@@bluelightvisions Thank for your insight, as I stated before I have never heard of any other countries of school shootings as much as they happen in the USA.
@@Theterminato2013 yes I agree he sure does get better all the way to his last season which is season 9 the last of the next generation cast because by that time it's the next group of characters later on that come in season 8, season 9 and of course season 10 too whenever the show dropped the TNG title
@@Theterminato2013 and also yeah Peter and Derek were jerks as well too especially Derek he got worse in season 8 Peter was a jerk in season 5 and season 6
I’m a little confused… Spinner tells Jimmy to keep his mouth quiet about the whole incident before he gets shot. Soooo did Jimmy forget bc he went into a coma for a bit?
No he never forgot spinner told him to keep quiet he had been known that spinner jay and Alex did it but when Rick shot him he didn’t know that spinner and jay blamed him for the paint and feathers thing jimmy knew they did it however thought Rick just shot him because he felt like he was tricking him and betraying him not knowing it was spinner and jay the whole time

In Jay's eyes, he felt like Jimmy betrayed them over befriending Rick. That's the real reason why he and Spinner blamed Jimmy

What would had happened if Jimmy and Sean ran into each other in the hall with Rick there?
Oh chicken boy, oh chicken boy. Lol. Reminds me of when he made fun of Marco when he said, “oh paaaaa paaaa” I want a season 7 Spinner action figure.
Yeah Spinner was out of line alot in seasons 3&4 being a big jerk to his friends
@@joshshipp2979 Yeah true that. Spinner does end up maturing greatly in seasons 5-7. Peter and Derek have no redeeming qualities.

Craig should had confronted and beaten Rick's ass for shooting Jimmy
How would he do that when Rick had a gun?
Unm.. Craig probably saved Jimmy by staying with him
