Beyond neutral, if you're a new player, do the combo you can do 9/10 times instead of the difficult max damage combo you found online. Doesn't matter if it is 50-100 damage less. Take the guaranteed damage.
I love the way this guy encourages me man. I've never been any good at fighting games, but I've always wanted to play em, and this guy makes me think I could take on super, and I haven't even learned any Spawn combos yet.

Love your content. My brother is a true beginner and we figured out that using raising hell instead of the chain grab makes using spawn more easy. you can be safe on b1 and 3,4 without much thinking. I agree though that your build is more optimal
Nice video. With forward 2 3 It does more damage than the forward 2 1 string for combos. so if you know the forward 2 is going to hit (with punish/corner grab crushing blow) you can get more damage canceling that string into charging hellspawn
Spawn is very easy for a beginner, Fujin is not. So good choice. I'd recommend trying Jade and Noob Saibot as well. They're very good picks to help learn the game.
I think we know that I suck at escaping corners so if i am getting stuck in the corner a lot i switch from sub-zero to spawn and do some absolutely d%ck@ss damage without even having to escape the corner (just finding punishable gaps)
I also like the ability that gives him free krushing blows for one round (if you are losing a set, you can go f%ck it with this character and sometimes it works)
He gets like noob saibot damage but can turn invisible, get free krushing blows, get wombo combos, or get insane projectiles depending on his variation

I actually JUST hit 1k like.. a few days ago. I don't measure success in subs. I measure it in doobies and tea bags! AND WE GOT TONS OF THOSE!!!!

Yeah, but f2, 3 is unsafe. I try my best not to give noobs a loaded gun that'll get them killed whenever possible.

Really good video, I’m new to MK and was trying to learn Fujin combos off the rip, having a lot more success and fun playing Spawn
Spawn is very easy for a beginner, Fujin is not. So good choice. I'd recommend trying Jade and Noob Saibot as well. They're very good picks to help learn the game.
