I used to have fun on old fortnite and Minecraft whilst listening to the album American teen and I will never forget those days idk why but the feeling of enjoyment when I played and listened to this song and had fun on a game I loved just is a indescribable feeling. I was out of town working on August 3rd 2019 when an sorry excuse of a human ran in and shot up a Walmart in the 915. My mom was there that morning and still has her receipt with the time stamp of Ten Sixteen am. First call to 911 came in at Ten Thirty-two am. When I first heard the news I felt helpless because I was out of town. Although either way there was nothing I was going to be able to do, I wanted nothing more than to be home with my with and child and to be able to hug my mom at thanking God she hadn't left the house to the store any later than she did because she probably would have been caught up. I listened to this song all the way home a week later. I couldn't stop crying from the anger of the pain the individual caused my beautiful city. To Khalid, THANK YOU! I will forever consider this my cities song. It brings such a huge pride to blast this song in my car.

Yeah we might not have much besides the chico's tacos, western play land, scenic drive, trans mountain, the desert, and a down town less than half the size of dallas' but its our city its our mf city, we hear the trash "oh el paso is so boring" but thats what THEY make it, THEY make it boring they are the DOWNERS. But once you take in the scenery of our city, the people, the CULTUR, and the straight up vibes you get when the sky is clear and the sun kisses those mountains, its HELLA GREAT HERE MY DUDES.
