Ironically, they nerfed her damage so much it'd probably be safe for her A3 to hit x3 again. The real salt in the wound here is them saying they wanted to keep her a viable champion.

plarium will revise her, they are going to remove the "enemy max HP" tag from her A3. because i am sure they have removed that portion from battle mechanics but forgot to remove the tag.
A russian guy uploaded an excel with some escalate damages of many champions. Her A3 hits 0,02% of max HP target. Coldheart and Royal Guard hits by 0,1% max HP. That's BS
Did my own testing. Dragon 13, lvl 40 Steel Bowyer Big Game hit for 3300. Her a1 and a2 did about the same damage. At this point it's more likely that her garbage damage is unintended/caused by a bug but I don't think the devs give a shit.
Thanks for doing videos like this. Sad that they did this, because she looks better than Coldheart, in my opinion. Maybe that's why. Can't take the torch from CH! They should really take a look at several champs. Like Soulbond Bowyer only using her aoe on Spider. Crimson Slayer not using her TM decrease against Fire Knight. Etc. Or just tweak tha AI vs Fire Knight in general, because it's horrible. They modified the IG fight, so you won't nuke too hard and suicide on its AoEs. Why can't they modify FK so champs would prefer their multi hitting abilities while the shield is up? It's not like it would hurt anyone, because every team has this problem on auto, even the big whale teams.
Thanks for doing this Stew, people need to know how they "misused" the "Nerfhammer" on this Champion. I am very much ready and willing to accept nerfs to OP Champs. I actually look forward to the Duchess Lilitu Nerf for example. However, Duchess will still be borderline OP after the nerf because they are using the "light touch" method on her.Steel got basically "gangraped" by the Plarium "nerfteam". When players ask for nerfs or you think that a Champ is overperforming for her class, then the solution we expect is that you bring the Champ down to a usable level, not turn her into food.
Dutchess is probably a little op she has enabled me to do lvl 20 in all dungeons easily . The nerf will make her less viable but it is only a gentle nerf . Ill have to put an invrease defence champ in my cb team now .
@@anthonykeane4984 the Problem with Duchess is, in Arena, she is basically the definition of adding insult to injury. She would be a good Champ even without her passive, she is a borderline OP Champ with her passive without the "Veil" Bonus (injury) she is quite OP and frustrating to fight against with the Veil Bonus (insult). They will at least remove the insulting part, I doubt it will weaken her too much. Just let me put it this way, even after the Nerf, I will be very happy if I pull her.

She was the first rare I pulled, when she was still new and Plarium had just became aware of her doing excessive damage on CB. In all fairness, they did immediately announce she was going to get nerfed. But it says something about how their balance testing is off, both before and after the nerf...
Just starting this game, playing about a month.. I get her and saw that atack based on max hp!! Wow, quickly het her in to 6s (its my third champ with 6s) and then cant believe.. Trying trying, trying even more... And only then i start looking in the Internet about her... Its crazy!!! So if they kill the champ and know that shes cant be used just change that "atack based on max hp"!!!! Cuz now ppl see that and thinks wow, rare thing!!!! And they getting in to a trap.. I dont have any champ with that kind attack... So i was excited... Ty shadow legends for the time i just throw away...
Thanks Stew! I have been trying for a cold heart and just can't pull her. I have had a steel bowyer for a long time. I almost booked her and then the nerf warnings. Very glad I didn't. I was kind of hoping she was still viable in some form. You have clearly shows she is not. Thanks so much.
I have two steel bowyer, luckily Ive only been playing for 45 days, and saw videos about how bad she is, so they sit in the vault hoping to be used for a future fusion.

Yep I was still fairly new when she came out and I got her from one of the events. Took her to 50 and was about to go to 60 when my clan mates advised me not to (thank goodness). After the nerf I was getting more damage from death hound then her on the cb and he was lvl 40. She's probably got a few inches of dust build up on her now from sleeping in the vault.
I literally just asked around in Discord about her. Thanks for the follow up on her! Edit: I hope Plarium watches this and decides to rebalance (Fix!) her.
Just pulled her. From what i can see it looks like she might not be worth the effort. Was thinking putting her in a stun set, but the AOE is still got such a high cooldown it wouldn't help too much. Pretty lady to make the vault look shiny.
Should maybe hit for less than RG just based on her being a rare and not an epic. The nerf was far overboard you can hit that hard with any champ geared like that. Players didn’t even get compensated that maxed her out.
she should hit just like coldheart, it's not going to break the game, she will weak hit agains her weak affinity contrast to ch as a void champ. Poor girl lol f
This is a champion that made me quit the game. I got her, maxed her to 6/6/60 was finally doing well. Then got the rug pulled out from under me. As a FTP that's infuriating.
They created her to be just another fusion food vault guardian, like 99% other rares in this game. It was Plarium's mistake to make her viable in the first place, and they fixed it.
I ate 4 of them on my main account all at level 50 and who even knows how many others,and it is a shame cause apparently she was a really broken champ at some stage.....
now that doom tower is out, how does she perform on the first couple waves there? i'm way too low to for doom tower so i can't try it out yet. help me out!

This isn't video related comment,but more of a game situation one. I'm always up for a good hate on plarium,but I actually think people are going a little bit overboard with the hate. As a low spender (Over 1 year of playing this game I gave maybe about 70-80$ and that's all in the last month or so). I can tell you that most of the hate is how plarium is money grabbing,I really don't think that you have to play anything to them,everything is doable as a f2p (It will take a looot of time,but it is doable). Feeling of a reward will be much greater than,you will actually feel like you deserved your champions,like you deserved the gear you got and so on instead of just buying it.Without paying them you won't be sad by quitting or by not quitting,it just won't matter to you. Even more,PvP in this game is literally non-existant and what other people get by spending their money shouldn't affect you nor be a reason to complain. "Oh some streamer got free Draco",well if I wasn't also the one to open 300 shards at that time,I should not care about it. Even if I did open 300 shards,still same crap as if I didn't. I think RSL will remain popular until a similar game comes out WITH same or better graphics,because for many of us (Me for example),cartoony graphics like in calibria just won't do it. Until that times comes I think RSL is safe,and who knows,maybe they will actually fix things that we are asking them to fix for ages.
Plarium : the champ is too strong, let's bring her down so no one will EVER use her anymore. This champ should be a mini Royal Guard, not a useless one.
I hate it.. started 1 month ago with the game. I was looking for a Champ like her, max hp damage... she's the only 1 I've who can do that. Now she's lvl 50 and doing nothing... hm.. disappointing..

I was excited when i got her because i was still early game and very low spender. I had her at lv50, put all my best gear on her and she hit like a loose fart. So i used her for food. Total waste of a champion
She should be rebalanced. I honestly don’t think she should be doing royal guard damage on each hit, but if she went the Armiger route and did similar damage over time due to lower cool down that would be excellent.

She was one of my first pulls. Super excited. Then super sad....she's been on the top row of my champ vault for almost a year.
I believe it was during a fusion for foli, and players were going for steel bowyer over foli..lol so plarium got greedy as usual...

her a3 used to be a triple hit. they changed it to one but didn't increase her multiplyers
it's so stupid because she was almost free.

In the arena SBowyer had a 50% attack buff, try her on dragon with 50% attack buff, maybe damage will be significantly improved? But idk..

she should be pure damage without any buffs/effects. her A3 should hit equivalent to ColdHeart A3 but without the turnmeter reduction.
