i just saw one of those Survivor polls and they were asking who’s more entertaining…Sydney (S41) or Lydia (S42). couldn’t even remember who Lydia and i knew she wasn’t purpled. just showed how forgettable she was….and she made the merge

The Edgardo boot and his smile vanishing off his face was the stuff of legends back in the day. My friends and I still refer back to it when we talk about blindsides as being Edgardo-level lol.
Video suggestion: 5 most impactful survivor rewards. The merge feast in survivor 43 springs to mind, as that move at the merge feast got gabler to win. Lauren's final 9 win at HHH also set the tone for rest of the game. Tony going with Spencer and Jeremiah at final 9 also.
Stacey belongs with Cao Boi as among the real strategic game changers of the show. It's be interesting to see what such a handpicked, fantasy cast that would look like.

I still can't believe that the producers wanted to cut Angelina over Natalia in casting for DvG. "They're too similar!" No, one is our queen, the other is a robbed goddess.
@@katal003 : I think the word "feisty" was also used. The casting director lobbied hard for Angelina, and managed to get her cast for a later season, but then someone dropped out of DvG and Angelina got subbed in, and the rest is history.

what if you did the best jobs to be in for survivor. like i think bartending is a great job for playing. but honestly i think most sales jobs are probably the best. it could be who was the best from each job, or just like the top five jobs for survivor.
This might be a weird video idea, but what about swap tribes that were very consequential? Examples could include post-swap Solana uniting as an alliance, the swap tribes that Chrissy and Ryan were on in HvHvH essentially determining that the Heroes rather than the Healers were going to pull in the Hustlers, and post-swap Casaya being the dominant alliance of the season.
I would 100% have to agree on new-era players acting too graceful about their eliminations. Sure Survivor is the adventure of a lifetime and I'd be grateful for getting that opportunity alone... but at the same time it's a million dollar game. You just lost your chance at a million dollars (or 600 grand in the case of Jeff Kent). You're telling me that these people don't have at least A LITTLE bit of saltiness? Seasons 42 and 44 in particular are the biggest culprits

I always believe that some if not most of the reaction are just video editing work. The Edgardo one is probably a fast-forward footage and may or may not be taken from that particular moment.
I am not sure if this is true but I remember reading that Edgardo strongly suspected that he was going to be voted out going into that tribal council, and the footage of his "reaction" to the vote reveal was actually edited in from previous tribal councils of that season.
I dont think that's possible considering all the tribals he attended previously, he was on the right side of the numbers. So I dont think he was surprised at any of his previous tribals
it was sooo satisfying seeing the Four Horsemen lose. and seeing their behavior in the FTC makes what happened to them even better. they suck….especially Alex

I think there's a big disparity between "hardcore" Survivor fans and the people who watched/remember the first few seasons. Just by sheer volume, the show was such a phenomenon and so iconic that the amount of people familiar with Borneo and Australia is going to be a factor, even if many of them aren't necessarily engaging with the fandom online.

Natalia's "paranoia" is shown because that's what CBS can show, but the real reason Alec targeted Natalia was because she couldn't get with Kara with Natalia still around. Early on, Natalia decided that Dan is partnered with Kara, John is with Angelina and Natalia is with Alec to make up the dominant alliance, but with a bit of flirtation happening. But Alec was NEVER into Natalia, and Kara was just being nice and social with Dan. Kara and Alec were actually the ones vibing and their personalities matched each other. TLDR: Alec elominated Natalia because without her Alec can finally "hook up" Kara. There :) You're welcome!
Another mention. Phoebe from Australian Survivor All-Stars. She was salty at David for voting against her, and refused a hug from him. Poor sportsmanship, and hypocrisy, given how she went behind his back and screwed his move on their previous tribal, just because she hates Moana for some reason.
