Wow. I started working in indie games as an artist when the first gameplay video of Owlboy started making the rounds. It was aspirational for us and made our studio as a whole try harder to make better games. Eventually after never really making it, I left the industry and started a family. Watching this brings so much back and seeing it actually release fills me with vicarious joy. I'm proud of you guys for sticking through it, and I'm sure it will be worth all your efforts. I've been playing the demo builds when doing jury/judging for the IGF for so many years now... At the time, I kept hoping that you guys would finish the project so I could play the full game. Yay~!!! Well from what I know from some of ghibli's 80's-90's movies is that the take away messages at the end of they're movies was "treat mother nature with respect and cherish it cause there are no do overs." Well in some of the movies, yes there's a happy ending but of course the more realistic outcome would be too depressing so you get the just of it.

the climax of the music goes so incredible well along with the video that it gave me goosebumps if the game can hold onto that ambientdesign im definitaly ge for it as soon a sale hits

Congratulations and thank you for your hard work! There's so much about this game that I already love! I'm on a student budget and I don't have much free time, but I'll be darned if I don't make time for this!
Wow. Powerful music was used in this trailer. I love sad/happy music that makes me think of an enthralling adventure filled with many experiences. The sound design is on point.

This game is so great I've been playing it endlessly. I bought it like a day after launch even though I only heard about it right then and there. The moment I saw the gameplay and the characters I knew I had to have it. I even bought the soundrack with it because I wanted to give even more profit to the developers. Honestly such a great game and I'm looking forward to more in the future.
I bought that limited edition and today I completed the story. Thank you, it was such a nice experience. Even though I don't like there are millions of pixelated games these days, Owlboy has such a lovely charme to it. I really enjoyed the graphics and the music. The characters are adorable as well. The story isn't too long but I really liked that as well, since it's compact and it was told nicely. Now all I need is a little Otus amiibo :D
Im a big gamer, have a lots of pricy games like zelda and other big names but this one is honestly the best game Ive played in a long time, I feel like a kid again. thank you so much team who took 10 years to make this masterpiece!
