The old tap to change never had that problem for me. I would not have changed that tap function. That said, the newer Pro version sticks in the ear, almost airtight if you want that. I do not like that Airtight fit. So that's why I'd stay with this version as the best trade off of comfort, use, and overall feel.

The price of boat airpods are low but don't think the quality is also good ... Quality is proportional to price in case of boat as per as my experience... The battery is not staying more than 2 hrs and my cap( dhakkan) of the case magnet has gone ... I didn't changed it instead bought OnePlus earpod.. which is far better than boat
