- Since logitech removed the drivers for this Logitech Wingman Formula Force GP Force Feedback (long name :D) steering wheel from their official site it's hard to get your
hands on a driver, luckily i was able to find it still on my pc from an old backup!
I might have a few more videos coming up about this Logitech Wingman formula force GP steering wheel, although I didn't plan on using the wheel for racing games specific... I wanted to use the foot pedals for extra controls like leaning controls in games like rainbow six siege for example which actually worked! ... if you want to see a video on things like this let me know in the comments! :D
(i'm still on windows 7 but i'm pretty sure they work on windows 10 as well)
*These drivers are 64-bit only, sadly don't have the 32-bit drivers for this steering wheel.

Works with the driver for the Logitech Driving Force GT. It supports all wheels up to G27. Wingman formula force gt is in the list:

I think Logitech profiler is what you're looking for, it comes bundles with the driver.
(I personally used this to bind the pedals to leaning controls in shooters that have a leaning feature :p).

hello, great work man, but question : After setting the binds from the profiler, you start the game from the profiler or normally?
Thanks! :) You should be able to launch the game normally, Logitech profiler should recognize that the game is launched.

@LuS1aNo You should be able to do that using Logitech profiler, which comes with the driver. (Used it to bind the foot pedals to the lean keys in r6 siege, tactical shooter)

hey so its working but thew wheel isnt calibrated do u know how to recalibrate it?
If you goto the devices tab inside the configuration panel, there should be a screen showing the wheel. If you right click on it I think there is an option for recalibration. You may also be able to do this inside of Logitech profiler.

I personally don't play a lot of racing games anymore sadly, so i can't really answer your question. Most racing games should support this steering wheel though i think.

I downloaded the driver for snowrunner but the game doesn't want to work with it
@@CemeH_CBaJloB It's a relatively old steering wheel so it's possible that newer games may not work too well with it. I'm sadly not familiar with this game so i don't know if there is something you can do to the game to fix support for it. Alternatively you might be able to bind button inputs to the steering wheel itself (see my other video for this) but it's definitely not perferct and there may be better solutions for this issue.
this is working great with games and all but the one i bought the pedals dont seem to work at all any tips?
Have you already tried configuring it like a controller through steam? You can also use Logitech profiler to configure the steering wheel (I have a video on this).

You mean for a playstation 2? Or a version of this wheel with a serial port connector?

It connects using USB. Yup, you just install the driver and plug it in and it should work. Yes, it should work on windows 10.

I need help: I did everything according to the steps, and everything should be working. Im playing burnout paradise remastered on pc and it should be compatible. But it just doesnt do anything.
Is the steering wheel being detected in Logitech profiler? Have you tried any other games? It's possible that burnout paradise may not support it.

Happy to help :). As for what games you're able to play with it I'm not sure, I've only tried a few games (mostly old games). It's a pretty old steering wheel so it's possible that some newer games will not work well with it.

Support is likely very limited in newer games, it's quite an old steering wheel. I personally haven't used this steering wheel much for racing games (😂), I played R6 siege with it recently but I haven't played any racing games with it in years! I barely play any racing games these days. I got this steering wheel for around 5 euros at the time from the flee market, it's alright but obviously not comparable to the popular steering wheels of today.

Hi, thank you! The wheel works on Win10 but when I run Forza Horizon 4 it says it's not compatible with that game. Anyway - it works fine in older games like NFS High Stakes (which I also run on Win10) :)
Good to hear that it works! :) I sadly don't have Forza horizon 4 but you could try and see if you might be able to play around with Logitech profiler🤔. (I also have a video coming out soon in which I'll demonstrate how you can use the footpedals as extra buttons, for things like videogames but also as shortcuts and things like that).
forza emuwheel should allow you to use it properly

Np! :) That's something you will have to test, I sadly don't own any of those games. You can technically play everything you want with it, the software allows you to bind the inputs of the steering wheel to keyboard inputs as well; I used the foot pedals in rainbow six siege for example 😂

@@rizwankhanjra123 The pedals are analog, example: in a racing game you'll go faster the deeper you press it. Same for the steering wheel, the more you turn it the more you'll steer. (it's a 180 degrees steering wheel, 90 degrees left, 90 degrees right). Keep in mind: the way i configured those pedals to work in rainbow six siege they are seen as buttons since they emulate my keyboard keys. (Do you already have this steering wheel or do you plan on getting it?)
Do I need to install the original driver first- or can I go straight to installing this driver?
This is the original driver that used to be on the logitech website. Logitech sadly removed the driver from their website.

I sadly don't have the Mac version of this driver :/ . I personally don't own a mac (also don't know that much about them) but I believe that you can run Windows on it using bootcamp, there are also quite a few games that won't work on Mac I believe; this might be something you could look at. (Not sure if it's worth the work😅, it's quite an old steering wheel, keep that in mind).

You mean that you can feel the type of road in the vibrations of the steering wheel? That will mostly depend on the game, although most racing games, that support steering wheels and force feedback, have that feature.

Are you sure you have the force feedback version of this steering wheel? Some games might not support it very well, i believe there is also an option somewhere in logitech profiler where you can test the force feedback.

Np! :) Yes, you can install the newest Logitech gaming software as well, you'll have 2 versions on your computer in that case, the steering wheel will be controllable using the older version and your headset and mouse using the new version. (I personally need the new version for my mouse).

It's definitely going to be better than this steering wheel :p (paid 5 euros for mine i believe, personally won't spend more than that i think, it's old and it feels quite cheap, personally prefer a controller over using the wingman to be honest :p).

I just got the Logitech Wingman formula force. The thing is brand new in the box. Only thing is i don't have the CD that came with it.
I'm going to run it thru Inspiron 5755 with windows 10 on board.
Where can I get the software and necessary driver(s). I'll look around myself of course. But if you can drop any truth on me it would be appreciated.
You can find the official drivers inside the video description, i got these from the official logitech website a couple of years ago, before they took them down. I might have the original cd somewhere as well but i'm not sure. (i don't read the manual anyways and the one for the website is probably a more recent version).

Only Problem in F1 2020 is that there is no force Feedback or any vibrations.

Do you have the force feedback version? Do you have the wall adapter plugged in? (i believe you can also test if force feedback is working inside logitech profiler).
Does this wheel work for ps4? I plugged in the single usb and nothing happened

Are you sure you have the force feedback version? Do you have the adapter plugged in? Not all games support it, I believe you can test force feedback in one of the installed programs as well.

You mean playing COD with a steering wheel? :p I've played rainbow six siege with this steering wheel (used the footpedals as leaning controlls) but i haven't tried it with COD. You can reconfigure the functions of the different buttons of the steering wheel in logitech profiler.
How woltage is power adapter on this steering wheel. I really want to play assetto corsa with this steering wheel and force feedback

@@kvarkaa I sadly don't have Forza horizon 4. I know a few methods you might be able to get it to work (see my other video) but they are not perfect and probably not something you'd want to use for this particular game. There might be a way to get this to work properly, I've actually had this question quite often in the past, maybe one of them figured out a good way to get it working in Forza horizon 4.

Is the game compatible with this steering wheel? Have you already tried other games? The support for newer games may not be very good since it's quite an ancient steering wheel

I have a old pc but sadly it was 32-bit, I still use a windows 10 laptop but I use my desktop as a gaming pc. Also I found a 32 bit profiler

This driver should at least work with windows 7 and windows 10. Haven't tested windows 11 yet but worth giving a try if you're on that.

It probably doesn't work on Xbox 360 (haven't tried it though, giving it a try is something you could do if you have both of them already).

Are you sure you have the force feedback model of this steering wheel? i believe there is also a non-force feedback model. If you have the force feedback model, make sure the power adapter is plugged in, without it the force feedback will not work.
Hi. I bought a used product. After installing the software, setup menu did not come up where I could calibrate the wheel and pedals. What can I do?
You should be able to calibrate the steering wheel outside of the installer as well (I think you should be able to do this in Logitech profiler, not 100% sure, I'm not on the computer at the moment😅). You can also try reinstalling the driver to see if it does ask for it this time. Does the steering wheel works so far? Apart from the fact that it's not calibrated?
@@mybadpc I have only one game which is Flatout 2, a car racing game. It is strangely working: both pedals should be pushed in order to go forward, if I release one pedal (does not matter which), it works as a brake and if I release both, I am starting to go backwards. I don't know if the game is set like this or it is due to the missing calibration. What do you think? I will try to reinstall the software after work.
@@pothszabina 👍I think the missing calibration is causing this issue. You should be able to calibrate it after install as well: Configuration pannel -> Hardware and sound -> Devices and printers -> Right Click WingMan formula force gp -> Press the option with the controller icon -> properties (might not be 100% the same, my windows is set to dutch).

You guys have rattling noise when driving or is yours silent?
Depends on if I have force feedback on or off. With force feedback the wheel vibrates quite a lot (can be adjusted in the software) and makes quite a lot of rattling noise while doing so for my unit.
@@mybadpc i ment with forcefeedback on, especially when drivin straight line fast.
But it doesnt bother when using headphones.

That's something you will have to try, although I personally don't think it will work since there is likely no support for it on the PlayStation. (You can always give it a try though :D).
Witch games can i play with my steering Wheel?
It's supposed to be used with racing games😉 although ... I did actually use the foot pedals as leaning controls in an FPS shooter 😂. On a more serious note though; support will vary depending on the game. I can't give you a list of all the games that will work sadly because I've only tested it with a few games myself. It's going to be a case of trying and seeing if and how well it'll work.

I don't have experience with F1 2019, but you should just be able to remap the controls to your steering wheel inside the game itself.

I cant even connect steering wheel on my graphic card cause it doesnt have appropriate connector.It requests a needle connector but i have the one with hole so i dont know if connector exists that has needle connectors from both sides you know.
@@filipstankovic9587 The steering wheel shouldn't be plugged into your graphics card. What type of connector do you mean? Do you mean a serial connector? The steering wheel that i have has a USB connector to connect it to the PC.
The profiler detects the wheel but when I’m in forza horizon 3 it doesn’t detect it

Logitech Profiler was unable to detect any game controllers. I try to fix it many times, but it just don't see my device. PC found it easly and I calibrate it already, but can't confirm my setting to swtich on force feedback. Idk what to do :C
Have you already tried doing a reinstall? Have you already tried using a different usb port? Are you on windows 10?

Do you know have I can make the dead zones? Because when I hold my steering wheel straight it’s start like “wobbling” in games (ETS, City car driving). Or how I can fix this “wobbling”?
@@requber835 Sorry, I missed your reply. I have personally only tested this on windows 10; being on windows 11 might be the reason for the issues with the Logitech profiler. I think you could setup deadzones in the profiler utility, but since that's not working correctly for you I would look in the game settings. Some games do allow you to set that up in-game I believe. (I personally never really used these steering wheels, so my knowledge about this stuff is somewhat limited 😅).
*Edit: you might be able to try and launch the profiler utility using Windows 10 compatibility mode in Windows 11: right-click on the .exe -> compatibility -> change to Windows 10. Not sure if this works but worth giving a try maybe.

I have some difficulty about this. I followed what is on the video. Does it work on steam. It detects on steam but does not working? Trying to play euro truck simulator 2 and f1 2020 but to no avail. My os is win 10 x64. Please help. Thanks a lot...
I just tried mine on steam, and it's getting detected (settings -> controller -> global controller settings). I can also configure the steering wheel through here it seems. (wasn't aware of the existence of this menu yet :D). Is yours not getting detected in this menu?
@@mybadpc it worked well. As you have mentioned, that's the last thing I'd discovered so the device was detected on the game. The global controller settings must be forced off. It took hours before I managed to use the steering wheel. Thanks again... 😁
