I'm pretty sure that the reason it's illegal is that it doesn't have licence plates and a few other things needed to be road legal(headlights/tail lights etc). A lot of superbikes rev way past 10k rpm so I don't think thats the reason
Clearly you've never heard of a little car called the RX-7. You always drove those past 13k. 10k was cruising rpm. But as everybody said, the lack of license, lights, mirrors, signals, tires etc make it illegal. Also in Germany you can't drive it there. It would be too loud and also fall under the modified car restrictions guidelines.

@@ciankeulder802 it’s not only NASCAR bruh! Pretty frigging simple. If it’s not starting it’s one of three things, spark, fuel or air. If it was turning over on aerostart then it’s fuel. They have electric fuel pumps. There’s a big toggle switch right next to the starter that says ‘Fuel Pump’.

So Rusty Wallace actually retired at the end of the 2005 season. That does look like a 2007. I think thats a promotional car for the 2006 or 2007 Daytona 500. Kurt Busch was the driver of the Blue #2 for Roger penske from 2006 until 2010.
