When water hits my hair it shrinks up quickly and having conditioner already in my hair allows me to detangle it and get through it before it starts to shrink up and tangle into itself. It just works for my hair
Lil advice. I find that stocking material caps that I use yank and snag ( aka. breakage) my hair. So what i do is use a satin/silk scarf. and then use the stocking cap over top so it doesn't fall off. But like you said just the first few nights. After that I find that satin material will still hold through the night. good luck.
Mimi's Life I know this comment is old...but remember her hair is fine so her blow out is gonna look different than someone (me) with thicker hair. My blowouts look bigger and more full than her’s, but like I said her hair is fine and mine is thick
I just wanted to say...THANK YOU!!! I bought what you used and did exactly as you instructed it worked perfectly! It came out even better than when I go to the Dominican salon! Thank you for being bomb!
This was SUPER helpful. Your hair looked super lightweight and flowy by the time you were done. Redken should've paid you for this. 😂 I gotta try that deep conditioner and blow out cream. 💗
Irene Ella her hair is lightweight and flowy because she has super fine hair strands! Her hair after Tension method blow drying was already sooo lightweight, this wouldn't work as easily for everyone
love the hair. But stockings dry out your hair because of the material. you could put on a scarf then put the stocking over top to make sure it's tight and secure.
OMGOODNESS!!!!! I LOVED the Curly look on you so much but then you shared this and I'm totally BLOWN AWAY!!!! I'm going to try this with my hair. I don't have as much as you do but I'm going to try it. Your Hair, Your Makeup, Are On Point!!!!! Thank You So Much For Sharing.😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
I used your video to learn how to style my hair on my own in 2019. Because of you I was able not to rely on the hair salon. This was the base of understanding my hair and which steps to use in each stage. Thank you for the video and helping me start my journey.
Great job hun ! Just a helpful tip . Get a nozzle for your blow dryer and continously move the blow dryer downward . The nozzle will help you control where the hair blows , you wont burn your hair on the mettle pieces on the inside of the blow dryer, and best of all the nozzle will give you some extra smoothing .Dont hold it in one spot so you wont get spot heat damage . As a stylist I love that you fully hydrated your hair before pressing it . Great job girl !
SHIA Beauty yes give them a try, I started off getting sample sizes of different shampoos , conditioners and heat styling products to see how they worked in my hair before about the full-size because the products aren't cheap . So if you want to try the sample sizes out you can get them from Ulta
If your still having trouble with your hair/wrap staying together before you put your cap on you can use about 2 to 4 duck tail clips, as you get better you will use less. Clip them in the mail places where your having the trouble, tie your head piece on and slide the clips out from underneath the fabric and to make sure there is no lumps use both your hands and place on your head and turn your scarf in the direction of your wrap... A1. Hope this helps... and you did an amazing job!
i haven't straightened my hair in 2 years, everytime i think about doing it, then i see videos like these and im like, I'll just live vicariously through these women, and my desire for straight hair is satisfied through them doing it, lol
I love your videos and you do great work. As a professional stylist I can tell you that if you add a concentrator to your blow dryer you will lessen the timing and have an even smoother finish.
@@user-zx5xw4yw2e noooo its technique and knowwwwwwing what you are doing for YOUR hair. My friend has 4c hair versus my 4a and she gets her hair bone straight in the summer. it's a beautiful thing when a woman knows her natural hair & The precautions it takes to healthy hair! you have some really helpful advice & tips on how to keep that hair straight because that bathroom heat ain't nothing to play with & I'm so old skool that when you wrapped your hair with nothing I started to laugh cause I would have used striaght Bobby pens & that shit hurt! lol
I like blow dried straight hair on her texture. some may think it's fluffy and frizzy but I like the volume. I have a big head so completely bond straight doesn't look right to me
Definitely going to give this technique a try. I've been paying someone to do my hair for YEARS, but if I can get my hair to lay like this, I may become my own hairdresser!
Absolutely gorgeous... She is beautiful and her hair is gorgeous. I'm just jealous of her complexion. When I was young I use to cry every night because I was the only light skinned child. I use to pray every night for my skin to darken. of course as I got older, I realized we come in all shades. But I swear to my life the darker shade rocks.....
Siis this is the best straightening video yet honestly, I will be purchasing the products you've used right now... I also love the way you blow your sections out. My hair is identical to your hair, I will def be trying your method next time I blow out my hair.
I tried this.. and it worked amaziiing.. i didn't use the same products but i did the same as her.. i shampooed and conditioned my hair.. then i put the heat protection cream from Elsève and then i did everything she did in this video.. and my hair was straight for a whole week!
You have very thick healthy hair even though you may think it's thin. My hair is broken off in the middle straight down through the middle. I had a texturizer and it she'd and broke off terribly. I'm trying to let it grow back put naturally but the middle is most fragile. I DO NOT want more chemicals in it. No perm or texturizer. It's hot and when I shower it draws up. I use a hot comb every other day. That can't be good. Not sure what to do. I'll try that Redken Satinwear.
