And I do understand that there are households with two mothers and two fathers and that their children would be curious as to why they are that way but teach them when they're older. Sexuality and gender shouldn't be exposed to children. Though I'm not part of it, I support the LGBTQ, but at the end of the day, it's really inappropriate to teach children about.
Kids are too young to learn about this.I believe the aim they had was to make children accept diversity, but I indeed agree that kids younger than 6 shouldn’t be told about such things as it might really affect their mental health and give them a bad or weird impression on the LGBTQ community early on as these are cartoon characters teaching you about this.
It confuses kids and makes them think that to be liked and normal, they have to be someone they aren't, and be in the alphabet soup club.

I agree with the sentiment, but late teens is way too late to start talking to your kids about sex and sexuality. The official boundary between childhood and adolescence is 12 years. I started menstruating at 11 and I started puberty at 8. At least for girls, you have to talk to them fairly early. Parents should be the first people to talk to kids about sex. It's for the child's own safety and sanity.

Why not in this way? Because besides Acheeto's hyperventilating and insistence that "They" (who are apparently someone other than the people who make Blues Clues) have done something terrible, no one can actually explain what's wrong with this. They insist that "CHILDREN DON'T NEED TO KNOW!!!!" but, like, children don't need to know all kinds of stuff that we still teach to them because we think it will benefit them.
Personally I'm not super-stoked that they're using a Pride parade to represent LGBT people - like we all come out of hibernation for one month of the year and then go right back in again. And it's probably being done like this so that all the LGBT stuff can be contained in one episode that can just not be aired in parts of the world that don't like us. But hey, it's something, which is more than I had as a kid.

I believe the aim they had was to make children accept diversity, but I indeed agree that kids younger than 6 shouldn’t be told about such things since yeah their too young but if this was a show for maybe 8-13 year olds then I think itd be a great idea to tell them that hey discrimination isn’t fun.
