- Growing up watching the WWE in the mid 2000s, we all hated Edge, he was the heel of a generation. He would beat up all of our favorites, from Cena, Batista all the way to the Undertaker. It all started with the first ever Money in the Bank match. once Edge became Mr. Money in the Bank. Nothing was ever the same again.
All these years later there have been over 20 Money in the Bank winners. We have had great matches and great cash ins, but Edge in the first 3 years solidified himself as the one true Mr. Money in the Bank. Doesn't matter if it was Raw, Smackdown or even ECW. Edge became the Ultimate Opportunist and never looked back
In celebration of the Money in the Bank 2020 PPV that is airing soon, i thought why not take a trip down memory lane and talk about the Money int he Bank Legend

Mr. Kennedy is kind of a depressing story after losing the briefcase. His injury that forced him to give it up ended up not being that bad, then he got suspended after he was in line to be Vince's bastard son, then he got canned after dropping Orton too high on his neck.
At least he got some main event time in TNA, but there was always something getting in the way during his run in WWE.

@JELLY Lahoud The funny thing that during the 2005-2010 I was Anti Edge and did not like him, but now 2010-Present I love him and he's even one of my favorite wrestlers and even though he's a heel again I can't seem to dislike him.
It was hard to watch that intro, Edge was the first guy I truly called my favorite when I started watching, and looking back on that point of his career makes me re-love everything he did
As an edge fan when he speared a bloody Cena I will admit I cried a little. Also when he jumped Kofi that was great

The initial Money in the Bank was to be cashed in starting the following year, which is why Edge had to wait so long to cash it in. Which meant he cashed it in as soon as the year start, New Years Revolution.

Between Edge and CM Punk, those two I think elevated Money In The Bank. Plus they both had very similar lines of story when it comes to MITB. Those two I think are the true Kings of the match and the moments themselves

He is my favorite superstar from day one!!! Only him!!! I always supported him! He is having that special something, that no one else has or ever will!!! The sparkle in the eyes! I can't be more proud of him, with all his accomplishments through the years! One of the strongest persons i ever seen! He is still my only role model to this day! To be raised by a single mother....It wasn't easy for him, but his dreams and goals were huge! Then he wins a free training from essay contest. And the rest is history! That was all he wanted to do and through his journey he was about to give up, before he was noticed by Wwe. But he never did and here he is today! He is in that stage of his life because of his determination, never giving up, following his heart, never accepting no as an answer, working hard every single day and many many more!!! He is so special and rare! Just by seeing his sparkle in the eyes, you would know that this kid is born for something special! I called it IT factor! And to come back in Wwe at the age of 47, after huge injuries like his, it's unbelievable... That proves once again, how badly he wanted it! That he lives and breathes for this business! He literally done the impossible! His spirit is so powerful! To see him coming back was the happiest day of my life! I was also worried, because i want him to be healthy! I'm happy that I saw the sparkle in him from the first second i saw him, and that i supported him through every chapter of his career and still do! Greatest wrestler of all times, actor, visioner, he even wrote his own biography, also all the designs that you see on his wrestling tights and the whole outfit are done by him! Now that's a talent. I can talk about him for days! He just inspires me so much with my goals and dreams! When I'm about to give up i always remind myself, that Adam never will! When i see him my heart is full with joy and inspiration! And maybe is weird, but i don't look at him like THE RATED R SUPERSTAR EDGE!!! To me he is Adam! If I could only meet him one day, that would be a dream come true! Just to talk to him, even for 5 minutes. He changed my life and I can't be more thankful! When I started watching and following wrestling more consistently, cm punk had just won back to back MITBs so to me he was Mr. MITB, but now that I’ve been able to go back and watch every one of these matches/years/shows/etc. It’s clear that Edge played his role to perfection. Fortunately I got to enjoy the heck out of all of this as a kid. When we took up watching wwe in the 2000s our favourites were based off: “who’s Canadian?” Edge, Christian, Jericho, Chris -error wrestler not found-. This was initially true. I came to enjoy all these guys for their in ring work and characters. Experiencing the cash-ins, particularly the undertaker one because i saw it on tv was awesome! When it came to cm punk, I was a bit more choked but I knew it was Karma. Edge was my favourite, and Edge still is my favourite. GOAT. Shoutout to Jericho as well!

Vickie as SmackDown/RAW GM was his version of DIO's stand The World, putting him in world title matches wherever she saw fit.
