I have had a port cancelled a few times, usually related to weather conditions. Sometimes a ship can't safely port or if it is a tender port, the water is too rough for tender boats. Sometimes a captain tries to find another port in place of it, later in the cruise. Usually the port just gets cancelled, you get your port tax back on your account and some OBC.
I think it is cool how during the report of the cruise being canceled on the Radiance of the Seas that the video was showing all of the excursions that the passengers missed out on.
