Oh gee, maybe they could not have forseen modern weaponry, but it was made clear it is a 'living' document, meant to experience change through growth, but afforded *minimum* protection in its original form.

It's insane. I grew up in the mountains of rural Canada, owned my first rifle when I was twelve, used to hunt, most of my friends and neighbours owned long guns and hunted, my Dad was a soldier, but no one I know here thinks anyone needs an AR.
My eyes rolled almost as hard as that pivot to the border. Ken Buck has also voted to repeal and remove healthcare assistance, COVID aid, and ACA. So really he has never cared.

I am an Australian and remember when the gun laws changed. My father was a hunter and had a few guns, he did hand some in but was also allowed to keep others. There is absolutely NO reason that the average person needs a gun and absolutely NO reason a hunter needs a semi automatic weapon to shoot a deer and if they did they should not be hunting. Any politician who would threaten someone in such a way should instantly be fired and have all his weapons taken away because that shows possible intent, at least in my books.
