My wife and I started as 24 yr. old freshman in 1972. We had our first child in 1973. We returned in 1980 for grad school. Third child was born in 1981. This place is so full of great memories as well as the struggle to pay tuition and feed a family. My first born still remembers going to class with us. He took his family to see it this past summer. This video inspired me to make another trip ( 6 hrs. Each way) next week...you know ...to get some ice cream. 🤓😍
As a PSU alum ('85) and townie I found this to be simply awesome. I always liked the desolation of the town over winter break and these videos really capture that feel.
Greeting from Stillwater, Oklahoma. Now is 8:50 p.m., a cold, windy Sunday night. I am sitting in the library alone, working on GRE right now. The ddl for application is getting closer and closer. Feeling hopeless but hopeful at the same time. Just as beautiful as the campus is, the dream is also that beautiful in my heart. Wish me luck! and with the help from God, hope I can see you very soon!

I wish this were taken during the summer.. Awfully hard to compare this to Purdue or University of California campuses when those had video tours during the summer. Otherwise, nicely done guys! I still love the video!
I am using a DJI Phantom 2 Vision+ to shoot this video. I would suggest getting a similar platform if you are just starting out. If you want nice, non shaky video like what you saw in my video, you'll definitely want a gimbal.
