I do think beginners get a bit of luck at the start of the game. My friend who just started the game got dark choco unicorn and cream puff cookie as his first epics! I don't really think I am a beginner but I got hollyberry cookie just after i unlocked tropical soda islands (lucky IG?) so kinda beginners luck.
