I always found Dunham to be just mildly funny, but his act as a whole is entertaining. Very skilled.
I agree, without the puppets it's not that good on its own, but it's good enough, so with the puppet shtick, it works!

As an Arab, can sadly confirm. Fluffy is funny but Jeff Dunham is so redundant and unfunny.

It's funny to me because I view O&G as the true GOAT of ventriloquism even though looking back, Otto moved his mouth a lot more than other ventriloquists but that always added to the hilarity and plus he had George saying so much heinously funny shit that most people probably never noticed.
I miss Otto, Patrice, Giraldo, and all those amazing old NYC radio guests that would have probably kept comedy completely edgy (as it should be more that than sterile joke to not offended)
Edit: oh and Otto's laugh was the best. Hearing his big dumb chuckle as another amazing comedian was riffing with Jim Norton or Antwon Cumia fuck I miss those days so mf much lol
I seen Otto do safe sets he even told jokes to kids nothing at all graphic and I was shocked it was nice. But Otto & George was in their own category and his fans like us will speak highly of keeping him around in some fashion... so if some people want wholesome comedy I strongly suggest Otto & George at the AVN Awards.

Jeff Dunham is for a very specific group of people that im just not. The people who would appreciate Larry the Cable guy or maybe Jerry Seinfeld's standup. They enjoy American idol, SNL or one of Tim Allen's shows. People who unironically watch CNN or Fox news. I can't quite articulate it but im sure everyone understands what I mean. He's very skilled and people love him. That's a good place to be as a performer. Im happy for him. 👍🏻

Having to say "lower 50th percentile" comes off more as a dumbass thinking they are smart than actually being smart. Humor is subjective and saying people have to be dumb to appreciate a certain type of humor is incredibly small-minded
