  • This is what the boys have been dreaming about for the whole summer! Laps on laps on laps, skins to win, and sketchy shuttles! Based in Okere Falls the Kaituna runs all year round, it’s released from lake Rotoiti where there is a control gate regulating how much water is released.
    Due to the high amount of rain throughout most of the summer, the river has been at ‘Open Gates’, meaning it’s at its highest release possible, making it a perfect training ground for early morning race laps. Towards the end of the summer, the gates closed and the gauge read ‘500s’ on the control gates meaning it was time for party laps, big loops, and whippys!

    Your best video in my opinion. Really good vibes watching it (it even had a similar feel to Zambezi Foreva by Send It - especially the sequence around 0.54). Keep those videos coming boys.
