    Thanks so much for watching! If you enjoyed the video, I’d really appreciate it if you could give it a like and leave a comment. It helps the channel a lot! 😊
    If there’s enough interest, I’m planning to make detailed tutorials on optimizing MSFS 2020 with these add-ons, so let me know if that’s something you’d find helpful. And don’t forget to subscribe if you want more content like this - let’s make MSFS 2020 the best it can be together!

    As long as 2020 remains supported, I think it's still a wonderful simulator.

      @waschbaerkaiser Unfortunately Nothing is yours. You "own" nothing. You just have a license to use the game. Even worse since FS20 is dependent on streaming data for the best experience they can just shut down the FS20 servers and you are SOL.

    Total agree. 2024 is going to take at least 12 months to be even stable. Loving 2020 spent so much time getting it to look good . The add ons will come down in price also.

    Thanks for highlighting these enhancements I was unaware of, I too am very disappointed with MSFS 2024 Premium Deluxe, I haven't asked for a refund.....yet. I'll be trying these add-ons here as a matter of urgency.

    great video! I am using REX AccuSeason Advanced Edition, REX Atmos ( I do have REX Weather Force as well but prefer Atmos) and REX Real Global Airport Textures and the graphic is looking 10x better than at 2024. Sad that REX does not offer REX Essential Plus anymore...this was a really awesome tool.

      Thanks for sharing! Yeah Essential Plus would be nice. Also , I’d love for Atmos to remember the preset that I like / ability to save. Accuseason is also nice

    I think an addon that's extremely underrated. Realturb CAT global areas makes msfs 100x more realistic, simulating turbulence when flying through clouds and valleys. Something I am surprised was neglected in flight sim. Something so simple adds so much

    Finally gave up on 2024 after trying to set up my BravoAlpha throttle quadrant as I had it in 2020.
    In 2024, where the option that is supposed to unbind a control by hitting backspace isn't available on my PC. It shows the unbind option without the little rectangle with the point on the left side indication using the backspace button. Even pressing backspace does nothing. So, I haven't figured out how to set up complex twin, complex single, simple single, four-engine jet, and two-engine jet configurations. Many other smaller issues, but after spending half a day trying go figure out work around I through up my hands and stopped using 2024. I hope Microsoft eventually gets all the major bugs worked out.
    Thanks for sharing these add ons and I will take a look at adding all of them, and more to 2020.

    The Auto fps tool in combination with a frame gen mod for pre rtx40 series like my rtx3060: my performance has experienced an absolute game changers in fs2020 ..i am.using it for two weeks now and it feels like a boost of 1500 bucks gpu :D highly recommended...also changed the secondary scaling in the config file to 2.0 which works great on 12GB vram in 1080p on my 42'' tv screen according to some mod video tutorial video regarding the dlss ghosting issue. Dlss set to performance mode is also recommended

    I used to use the map enhancement tool all the time with Google, then got Google Pro, I don't use it any longer. For me, Bing is native to MSFS and for me, Bing looks better and more realistic, the enhancement tool with Google is never updated enough with the world maps and I am tired of seeing those divisional lines on the ground. Real immersion killer. Your video in the beginning even shows what I am talking about.

    • @flightstreamer
      @flightstreamer  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yeah! You should use Map Enhancement with Bing Maps - because that’s the high res textures used in their maps app. Bing data for sim (default) is very old

    You are so right. I do not need the career stuff. I just want a reliable, smooth, decent flight experience. The so-called improved flight model in FS2024 is of course the normal BS that so many have been sucked into. In fact flight models are not general but specific to each different aircraft. I find the graphics in FS2024 washed out, over saturated and no better than FS2020. As you say, with REX Atmos the clouds are far better than in FS2024. The only improvement I see is trees but that's just about it. I do fly Fs2024 but FS2020 is more dependable, smoother and more useable.

    I will check FS2024 on 11/15/2025. If ALL the bugs are worked out and the servers are stable on that date I might consider buying it. I know there are goodies that FS2020 doesn't have, but what is the point if the sim is not stable? FS2020 is still a great sim and it runs well. I'm in no hurry to leave it. The add-ons you mentioned sound great! I'm sure there will be still more to come.

    • @flightstreamer
      @flightstreamer  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Unfortunately.. in 2020 we don’t have that luxury of better 3d tree models as seen on 2024 :(

      @misterrrq.0524 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @flightstreamer do trees in 2024 move with the wind? I haven't purchased 2024 yet. I'm still happy with my pmdg 736 and with fbw a32nx in 2020. And honestly, I don't know if my current pc specs can run 2024. I run frame gen by lossless scaling in steam to help with my fps.

  • @stephenjones8928
    @stephenjones8928 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    Many thanks for the video and the tip about AutoFPS. I also use "Aircraft Realistic Lights" by Zinertek and "Enhanced Runway Lights" by FlyT Simulations. "Aurora Borealis" by South Oak Co. is a nice enhancement for the northern high latitudes. I do not like much of the new lighting in MSFS 2024 like the pale blue taxiway lights you can see miles away and which show no depth of field in brightness and spiked textures with distance like from one end of a 2 mile long runway to the other.
    I am now considering REX's "AccuSeason Advanced Edition" as I will not buy MSFS 2024 until it at least goes on sale like it did in October 2021; 14 months after launch. I may even wait for MSFS 2028 as I used to skip successive versions of the franchise back in the late 90's and early 2000's. 🙃

    I could care less about walking around it’s not Grand Theft Auto, It’s a Flight Simulator not a game. They could’ve used those resources to improve scenery, clouds and complexity to the Sim, I really get disappointed when the weather does not match the ATIS such as over cast at certain levels or broken, I like to fly real weather but it seems not to update. I do have a real PL with Instrument Rating, I did all the Flight Training way back in FS98 and my past favorite FS9 (FS2004). I have a career mode with FSEconomy and do enjoy FS but Staying in FS20 for a while. I do not like the issue of rebinding everything and calibrate every time a new sim comes out. I most likely move in the late spring if things are better. In the past I’d do every other sim. You know MSFS 2028 is around the corner, 😅.
