- Well, today is going relatively smoothly until... uh oh ... a tummy bug strikes!! It's a mostly at-home daily vlog today. I do some bits and bobs of housework and nip out to B&M Bargains to pick up some loll roll - and just as well, given what happens later in the day! 😂🧻

I'm Imo and she's Izzy. We're a UK mother and daughter vlogging combo that loves to get out and about, exploring South Wales and beyond.
We're a formerly homeschooling/home-educating family of two based in the UK dealing with the daily challenges of managing Izzy's severe, chronic eczema and her education. Our resourcefulness is tested on a daily basis, but we'd love to share our little triumphs and discoveries with you as we go along.
Imo is a flautist/flutist (flute player), and these vlogs will often take you behind the scenes of the life of a professional folk musician. Stand by for bits and bobs of live folk music and dance as they pop up in our day-to-day lives.

Sorry to hear about the tummy ache! I hope that has gone away by now. There is a fear of learning languages here. A lot of people skip it whenever possible. Here you are diving right into Portuguese! That's a real inspiration. Also, they did a study over here and found out that just planning a trip help improve optimism even if he never got to go. So, keep planning!

I hope you and IB both feel better by now. I've also been planning lots of imaginary trips recently, there are so many places I'd like to see. I think I'll be staying in the UK for now though, and why not when there are so many adventures to be had close to home!

I've been getting the travel itch myself too lately - I'm not planning on doing any international travel till at least next year but I've been looking at airfares and hotel prices and I've seen like 600 bucks roundtrip to London and I'm like oh man, so tempting!

Do you think it could be a bit of food poisoning from the picnic yesterday since you & IB both have it? Hope whatever it is that it’s short lived.
I wondered this. We had different baguettes but some ingredients were common. They came from a local baguette shop and were made to order.

Aw thanks. I often get 1 or 2. Sometimes they mysteriously disappear back off again later, which is odd. I used to worry that I had offended someone in vlogs with thumbs downs, but now I think it's probably just a hater so I don't worry or try to fathom it out.
